I hear momma's phone ringing and I hear her talking to Billie;my sister, yes she's Billie Eilish one of the most popular music artists in the USA or even the world. Pretty cool huh? I'm not her real sister, but she adopted me and to this day I don't know why. I don't even know what Josh had told her that day, before I came home.
I heard mom say "Sure why not." She definitely seemed worried, but happy by the tone in her voice.
2 hours later
"Ma, what were you and Billie talking about?" I ask, stirring up a pot of taco meat as I stand back as far as I can because the paprika is started to get it my nose, and making me sneeze. I hear the door open while I was taste testing the meat with mom. "BILLIE, FINNEAS!" I shout, running up to hug them, even though I have season long allergies on my apron." Hey kiddo!" They say in sync. It's obvious they seem pretty tired. Billie walks with me to my room as mom told me she'll handle the rest for dinner.
"Hm what's this?" Billie says as she picks up my song journal. "Oh just me tryna write a song, I've always had a wrote things. I like songwriting, just not singing. Like even before all of this crazy shit happened to my boring ass life, but I wanted to pick it back up." "Why don't you like singing if you're so good at it? Let me read." Billie says sitting down on my bed, opening my journal. I just shrugged to her question.
She read a song or two looking up at me sitting next to her. "That was pretty fucking good." She says patting my back "You never told me when I come and visit." She says calmly.
"Hey you two dinner's ready!" Finn yells through the living room. Me and Billie get up and walk to the dining area where mom made burritos. Obviously Billie had vegan ones, but she's always told me it's ok for me to eat meat if I prefer it.
"Hey I came back for a reason! I think it's time." Billie says as they all smile happily at me. I look, if not utterly confused. "You're 16 and me and Finn have decided that we wanna bring you on tour with us." Billie says smiling. My stomach turns. I give them wide eyes of panic and started crying. "D-Don't worry, they're happy tears."
We all group hug. Billie gives me a 'Can I tell Finn' look. I nod. "Hey Finn, guess what sis picked back up again?." She says directly to Finn. He perks his head up out of some curiosity. "Hm" "She's picking up songwriting again, and she's a hell of a songwriter." She said. I felt proud of myself as she sounded so happy to say that.
We finished eating and all of us 'kids' are sitting on the couch. Billie got up to get my song journal. She gave Finn the journal. He read the journal confused and shocked. He chuckles "I think this is the wrong journal?" I open my eyes wide in shock, I was frozen. He was flipping through the pages. "Wow you really like this Mason kid, don't ya?" He asks. I definitely did, and still do. I have this really cringey poem of him from when I seen The Black Phone before it came out. I actually went to a premiere and met all the actors.
He was definitely the shyest and I remember it so vividly. I came home, and wrote a poem about him.
His name is Mason Thames, beautiful brown eyes, Beautiful wavy hair, and a beautiful smile.
He's so shy and he's cute too. I talked to him briefly, but I wish I had said more. I sound fucking crazy, but
It felt like love at first sight, but To ever be with someone like him
I'd would definitely be someone I'm not, But be the opposite.
Anyone like that deserves someone Who's grown up with a good childhood Living parents, and definitely money.
And so all I will remember is his name is Mason Thames The boy with beautiful brown eyes beautiful wavy brown hair He was shy And cute too...

I snatched the journal out his hand, ran to my room, and shut the door. I shoved my face in a pillow out of embarrassment and wanted to dig a six foot hole and lie in it... "You weren't supposed keep reading it if it was her personal one, Finch." Billie says clearly disappointed by her brother's actions. "Not my fault you gave me the wrong damn book." He said protesting.
Later, Billie opens my door as both her and Finn walk in my room. "Hey kiddo, I'm sorry." Finn says with an apologetic look on his face. I look him in the eyes and shove my song journal in his hands. "Please read that one instead." I say embarrassed.
He was reading intensely, I was scared of what he thought because I couldn't read the look on his face, or maybe he's disappointed. "This shit is pretty fucking good!" I smiled at his comment.
"That's one you made 2 years ago." He stated and started reading the unfinished I started writing a week ago. "I definitely see the improvement in your songwriting." He says sounding proud of me.
"Before we all go to bed. Explain that Mason kid, now." He states, staring into my soul. "He— He's someone you've seen he just doesn't look like how he used to, like a year or so ago." Finneas pulls out his phone searching 'why do I know Mason Thames' in the Google search box.

"Oh he's the one who plays that Finney kid in that movie right? I swear you're obsessed with that movie." Finneas says. "I knew it" Billie said "You were blushing like crazy when me and you went to the premiere." Billie says happily, as she has finally confirmed my crush. "Aren't you friends with Brady? Why don't you ask for him to put a word in for you?" Billie asks me. "First, why would I do that because you know damn well Brads (pronounced Braids) will tease me, and make me and Mason talk or meet up. Second, can I know where we're gonna go for the tour?" I ask.
"Well, me and Finn did all the out of country places, so you won't get overwhelmed. We're going to Chicago and then to Phoenix, and the big city, LA, basically we're coming right home." Billie explains "Oh you want me to debut don't you?" I question. "That's a what I was gonna have you do, but only if ya wanted to." The siblings say in unison. "Maybe you could sing and play or something. Oh, we'll figure it out."Billie said
"Alright we should really get some sleep" Finneas says "Alright kiddo, good night." They say leaving my room.
