Home at Last

Y/n's POV

I wake up in my bed to the sound of Finn clapping his hands like an annoying alarm clock. "Y/n get up. Someone's here for you." Finneas says shaking me awake. I shot up "Who?" I ask rubbing my face. He said "I'm not telling you. Just get ready. I also put some money on your card." Finn shuts my door and I start getting dressed. While I was doing my routine I realized that the last concert on tour is in 4 days and then I can finally have fun with my friends.

I finished getting ready and open my bedroom door to see Madeleine sitting on the couch. I run up to her and give her a bear hug. "MADDY!" "N/N!" We say greeting each other with excitement. Finn had said Billie went out earlier so me and Madeleine walk out to her mom's van while Finn waves us off.

I get in the back seat noticing Mason in the front passenger seat. "Hey Mason." I say putting on my seatbelt. He turns his head to me and waves slightly smiling at me. Violet was in the middle of me and Madeleine "Hi Y/n! Your makeup is pretty!" Violet says while Maddy was getting situated in her seat. "Thanks! Maddy, where are we going exactly?" I ask. "You'll see it's a surprise!" Ms. McGraw says. I nod turning my phone on and then putting on my headphones. I open TikTok and the first thing that pops up on my for you page was an edit of Mason. I blush turning my phone off and setting it down in my lap.

Madeleine looks at me with curiosity on what just happened. "Are you ok n/n?" She asks. I just nod in response. Violet whispers in my ear "Do you have a crush on Mason?" I just nod being flustered by my actions. She smiles and taps Mason's shoulder "Yeah?" He asks shifting his body looking away from his phone. I panic, but Violet shrugs her shoulders at him, he shifts back facing forward, and looking back at his phone.

We arrived at a shopping outlet

"You all be safe." Ms. McGraw says as we all get out of car. "And you two take care of Maddy and Violet." She says pointing at me and Mason. We both nod getting out on the same side of the car and shutting the doors in sync.

We walk up to the main entrance and I see Tristan, Brady, and Miguel. "Where's Becca?" I ask knowing Madeleine most likely invited her. "She was busy with making music." Madeleine says as we all walk up to the rest of them. "Hey guys!" I say group hugging them. "Where should we go first?" Madeleine asks. "Let's go to a restaurant first and then go shopping and shit!" I say as we walk to the burger joint at the shopping center.

We enter and tell the lady at the front desk we wanna booth for 7. The lady grabs 7 menus and leads us to the event booth in the back of the place. I sit down in between Madeleine and Mason with Miguel next to Mason, Violet next to Maddy, Brady next to Violet, Miguel next to Mason, and Tristan next time Brady. So I was more in the center of the all around booth. Eventually our waiter came to the table.

"Hi my name is Ethan and I'll be your waiter!" He says clearly not trying to freak out. "Hi Ethan, you don't have to be shy if you want a picture than just ask, I promise we don't bite!" I say laughing at his shyness. He nods taking out his phone as we all take a quick selfie. "What would you all like to drink?" Ethan says tapping his pen on the small notepad.

We tell Ethan what we want to drink "Ok guys I'll be right back." He says leaving in some direction. Mason gets on his phone and I lean on his shoulder to see what he was looking at. He had opened Instagram and was scrolling through his feed. He didn't seem to mind me on his shoulder until we both realized, got awkward and I got off of him.

Madeleine just giggled at us, Brady and Tristan were teasing me and Miguel seemed to be teasing Mason. Mason's notification went off and showed Brady posted something on his Instagram story. Me and Mason look confused so out of curiosity I open the post and see me and Mason with my head on his shoulder looking down at his phone. "Seriously Brady." I glare at him. Him and Tristan laugh "Aww you guys look cute!" Madeleine says looking at her phone smiling.
