TW: mentions of pretty graphic deaths. This is not at all glorifying death in any way, just trying to add history to their individual storyline in this hc. It's ok to not feel ok, it's okay to feel your struggling, but if anyone to read this needs the help: dial or text 988

This wasn't the first ghoul to be brought back by Secondo, but it was the first ghoul to be summoned in the spring season. Maybe it was because of the season, or maybe it was because he was the first of the season; whatever the reason this ghoul ended up resilient and patient, he grew to be kind and gentle.

Even still living amongst humans, Mountain still had so much wonder for life, a need to experience it. As a man Mountain had been the adventurous type, the 'if it doesn't kill me im fine' type; he loved to feel the adrenaline of living. Which is how Mountain ended up on a motorbike in a country he'd never been to previously, pulling up to a two lane tunnel the giant wanted more fun than trailing the cars in front of him.but Mountain wasn't stupid he made sure before speeding ahead of cars that the adjacent lane was empty for him to merge into, he didn't want to get hit dead on if he was hit.

However, even with this much caution, the situation was unavoidable. The tunnel they were driving under hadn't seen an inspection in nearly 15 years, a part of the town's proud history. Once Mountain entered his fate had been sealed. The cracking around him was as fast and loud as lightning, how it echoed, poor soul didn't even have enough time to look upwards before he was crushed by falling concrete; there were some survivors from cars near the entrances but he wasn't one of them.

Mountain's summoning wasn't difficult; much like Cirrus, there was a brief period of getting used to the ghouls' better defined senses. But after that, everything else was easy, even the Papas who retaught the ghouls how to speak properly. Mountain picked up new things like it was his goal to learn everything he could, afterwards settling out and becoming a powerful advocate and mentor for young ghouls who came with deeper struggles. And thanks to his patience no one had ever felt unheard or brushed off by the ghoul, his height made him a bit intimidating, but he was the kindest ghoul with a huge heart.

Terzo was the Papa who brought the next two spring ghouls; cool and collected, the Papa had a thing with justice- with doing more to be better- better deserved second chances. Terzo liked to think he was just helping.

Cumulus had always been headstrong, even as a human. She had quite a large family and was always the one running the circus; she had to be bold with a good head on her shoulders. And because she took care of everyone it was rare she got to go out on her own, and this would be her last. Cumulus had gone out with friends, had a good time, and started on her way home- where she would not return. She was picked up in a van, strangled, and her lifeless body was dumped.

It wasn't like Terzo had watched this one, but he heard Cumulus' cries from hell and couldn't let the injustice sit. So thanks to her cries for help, Cumulus had been summoned back as a ghoul, and after only a week in the infirmary she was back on her feet.

After the next ghoul summoned the ministry was forced to make a new rule: going further no one was to summon ghouls by themselves. Not that they couldn't, but they'd need back up to be there. And this rule only exists thanks to one ghoul, and how Terzo reacted.

Sodo was one of the ghouls who desperately wished he couldn't remember who he used to live as, but he could feel and recall it all so fresh, maybe that's why he came up hissing and scratching at everything in sight. But for that we need to back up.

Sodo has never had it easy- not once- even as a human child he suffered more at the hands of adults. He had always been small and rather fragile, and after being placed in damn near a cult like 'family' the child's health only dwindled. He was malnourished and molested, rinse and repeat until the cult needed a sacrifice and the boy had gotten too old. Then they took Sodo, tied the boy's body to a scarecrow, and danced circles around him as he burnt alive in the dead of night.

Sodo's life wasn't long, but every second was tormenting. He spent more time waiting in hell than he did living on earth, that may have been why he reacted how he did when he was summoned by Terzo. When the tiny ghoul crawled from the hit the pentagram opened up to hissing and lashing out violently, Terzo nearly shit himself- it was embarrassing. However, when the tiny ghoul didn't stop trying to go for Papa's throat, Terzo nearly picked him up and threw him back into the hole he crawled out of. Instead Terzo picked the ghoul up, and slammed his back against the floor. Terzo had only meant to shock the ghoul into stopping his attacks, but he must've hit his head too hard because the ghoul blacked out.

When he came to, the letter ghoul was the second toughest ghoul they had to help guide through the transition. Sodo had his sparkling personality going for him- but when he was adjusting it was like someone going through withdrawal. His moods were shifty, he was always too hot or too cold and had a biting problem- still does.

After three months of isolation with the Sisters of Sin, and the creation of a new rule, the fire ghoul was finally allowed to integrate and socialize with the other ghouls. He had no hard feelings against Terzo, he would've done the same thing faced with a scary red eyed and horned demons practically foaming at the mouth to kill anything that moved or looked at him, and Terzo never blamed him for having that kind of reaction.
