Y/N's POV:

Sunshine poured through the windows and into my room. I groaned and covered my head with a pillow, trying to get more sleep. But it was useless as I had already woken up. I raised my head from the pillows, big mistake. Sunlight flashed in my eyes, making my eyes burn. A sudden headache started. This one was not a usual stress migraine. It felt like someone was splitting my skull apart. Great, just what I needed. Ugh! I begrudgingly got up from my soft bed. The cold floor made me immediately miss my warm bed. I somehow managed to drag myself to the bathroom.

I looked at my reflection in the mirror, and I look like shit. They are dark circles under my eyes (It's almost like a permanent thing by now, considering the nightmares), my face is pale, and my hair is a birds' nest. Literally. There's no difference between the birds' nest and my hair. I tried to make my hair look presentable. Keyword: tried. Yup, you guessed it right! The hair is too much troublesome for my hung-over state. So, I just let it be. I doubt I would even attend the breakfast. But it would be rude if I didn't. So, I have to attend.

I quickly brushed my teeth and splashed my face with water. None of that did nothing to the migraine. What should I do?! It's not an everyday thing that I would get a hangover. Heck yesterday was the first time I drank. What even happened yesterday? I ate, drank, and slept. I feel like I am missing something over here. Eh. Who cares?!

I had planned to go to the wardrobe, I really did. But I don't know how I ended up on my bed. Looks like my legs, have a mind of their own. My mind is screaming at me to get up and get dressed, but my body and heart are saying the opposite. A tiny nap wouldn't hurt. Right? My eyes fluttered closed, and darkness took over me.

I woke up again, this time to a continuous knocking on the door. I didn't get up and hoped they would take the message to leave me alone. But, as usual, luck is not on my side. The knocking continued. I swear to God, Asgardians are clueless sometimes.

I staggered to the door with great effort and opened it with even more effort. There stood a maid with a platter in her hands which consists of fruits and a weird substance in a glass. She immediately dropped into a low curtsey, almost dropping the platter in the process.

"Lady Y/N, you have missed breakfast. So, Queen Frigga asked me to bring you some breakfast. She also gave her cure for your hangover." The maid said, keeping her eyes down. Hangover? How did they know? Is this some Asgardian shit, that they always know stuff? I allowed the maid to enter, and she placed the platter on a table.

"I was also sent here to help you. Prince Thor is taking all of the girls on a tour. He wants everyone to be dressed like an Asgardian to know more about the cultures and traditions." The maid informed. I internally groaned. Now, how in the hell was I supposed to enjoy the tour with a splitting headache. Wait.........The maid did mention something about a hangover cure.

"Is that the hangover cure you mentioned earlier?" I asked the maid, pointing to the glass with weird stuff in it. "Yes, Lady Y/N." She replied, staring at the floor.

I grabbed the glass and drank it all in one gulp, trying to not spit it out or worse vomit. It tasted bitterer than raw bitter gourd.

"Would like to choose a dress, Lady Y/N?" The maid asked politely. "You are older than me. Then, why would you call me 'Lady'?" I asked her confused.

She looked surprised and explained, "Well, you are a special guest of the royals. It is a rule for us to respect you girls, even though you are younger." I nodded thoughtfully.
