Frigga POV:

I went down to the dungeons to meet Loki. I saw him in his cell, reading one of many books I provided him with. I teleported in the cell and smiled at him when he looked up. "Loki, are you comfortable with the furniture I provided for you, or do you need anything else?" I asked him concerned. "Hello Mother, thank you for these books and no, I don't need anything else. I appreciate your concern, mother. I would've given you a hug if you really were here, instead of a illusion." He said the last past with sadness.

"I thought I taught you to see the difference between illusion and real person, clearly it wasn't enough explanation for you to understand" I said stretching my arms, silently asking for a hug. His eyes watered while he ran towards me and hugged me while I hugged him back and rubbed his back.

"Everything's going to be alright" I whispered soothingly. He pulled back and asked, " How are you here? I thought Odin banned you from seeing me!"

I smiled mischievously and said " Only if he or the guards see us. I put up an illusion, so the guards and anyone else will only see you reading a book."

"I forgot where I got my mischievous character from." Loki said laughing.

"Who made you do this?" I asked.

"Do what?" He asked back, not meeting my eyes. I sighed.

"You know exactly what I am talking about, Loki." I said in a firm voice, but he wouldn't budge. I kept my hand on his cheek and caressed it. I felt him lean into my touch. I took his hand and led him to the bed and we both sat on it.

"Loki, we both know that you would never do something like that." I said softly. He raised his head and met my eyes.

"Do what?" he whispered sadly, knowing fully what I meant.

"Midgard" That one word was the last point for him to breakdown. He cried, collapsing in my arms.

I whispered sweet nothings in his ear.

When he stopped crying, he started explaining what had really happened.

"When I fell off the abyss, it was long fall down, I was I would die but I didn't. I was alive but an inch away from dying. A Titan named Thanos found me, he took me to his ship and healed me. He gave me food, water and shelter. He, then asked for my 'help'. He had wanted to wipe out half the universe with the help of infinity stones. He said it was to balance the universe. When I declined, his ways became...... harsher. He tortured me... mentally, physically and emotionally. He killed Astrid (Loki's daughter) just to break me. When I still didn't want to help him, he controlled my mind and sent me to Midgard which led to everything you know." He explained slowly, fighting his tears.

I felt anger towards this Thanos guy. " We can defeat him" I said. Loki shook his head and said, "He's too powerful." I sighed and said, "I will talk to your father about this."

"Loki......" I started slowly, not knowing how he would react.

"Yes Mother" he said innocently, looking at me.

"Have you ever considered adopting a child?" I asked, looking at his reaction. He was looking at me shocked. He opened his mouth to say something but closed it and did that again, looking like a fish.

"But mother-" He started but I cut him off. "It can help you Loki." I said trying to convince him.

"Fine" he said defeated. Before I can say anything, he started talking again, "But, I have a condition."
