°•Brietta's POV•°

With little to no sleep, through out the night I stared up at the ceiling listening to Jonathan's soft snores. Nancy woke up pretty early, suggesting we should try and figure out what this monster really is, going through books of predators, and animals it helped a little, but not a lot.

Jonathan woke up hours after that, sleepily staring up at us. "Hey sleepyhead." I say teasingly, he sat up a smile on his face which was barely noticeable. "Couldn't sleep?" he asks staring at the books infront of us in question.

"You know except for that place flashing through my mind everytime I close my eyes, I feel pretty good." I state with a hint of sarcasm.

"And that thing, all the negativity, hunger and darkness it was giving off nearly made me pass out." I informed him, their curious stares on me was making me anxious.

"It seemed that monster feeds and lives there, feeding on that deer, I was able to get a grasp of Will's presence, meaning he was possibly close to where I was, and that frightened me, I could have found him and Barbara too, but... I was..." I couldn't finish my sentence, my own guilt clawing up my throat.

"Hey, you know my mom said she talked to Will and you just said you were able to feel his presence, it means he's still alive and there's a chance Barbara could be, too." Jonathan says glancing at Nancy, "But that means she's trapped wherever Brie was with that monster." Nancy says scared for her friend, Jonathan and I had to tell her about my abilities, we did, and she handled it better than expected.

"We'll have to find it again." I state, my eyes traveling between the two.

"You wanna go back there?" Jonathan asks, worried.

"Look I know, it's stupid, but it seems like it only hunts at night, it's a predator, the only difference it has, is that it travels and hunts alone." I explained to Jonathan, Nancy was staring at a picture of a shark.

"Wait, Barbara cutted herself at Steve's party." Nancy says, her thoughts going back to that night.

"And the deer I found was bleeding also, and a lot at that." I state in realization.

"So you're saying it can detect blood?" Jonathan asks confused. "It's only a theory." I said still unsure myself, but it's all we had to go on right now.

"We could test it." Jonathan states,

"but if it works..."

"Atleast we'll know it's coming." Nancy states, as we looked at each other, our minds made up.

The door started juggling, I almost thought someone was trying to ripped the door off its hinges.

"Honey, are you up?" Nancy's mom asks loudly from the otherside of the door. "Yeah, I'm... I'm getting dressed." Nancy tells her, not the best excuse since she was still in her PJ's and in bed.
