(3013 words) Apologies on the wait friends! My life's been quite busy, as well as this chapter featuring lots of different characters! I've also been taking a little bit of time to figure out some more ideas for the next few chapters! Currently, I have 18/24 episode ideas written (including the previous chapters. I also have 2 ideas for extra chapters after the main ending of this story, but that's for later! For now, if you have any ideas, feel free to share and I'll happily add them to my ideas page! Apologies for the long author's note this time, onto the story!

(Y/N) took a deep breath of the delicious smell radiating off of the apple turnovers they had just pulled from their oven. With the apples collected with Wally yesterday, (Y/N) had spent the whole morning baking, raking their brain for the recipe they learned long ago and trying to remember all of the techniques they were shown. Their patience and efforts seemed to have paid off though, as the fresh turnovers would be practically impossible to resist if it weren't for their still molten hot insides. (Y/N) set the baking tray down on two medium kitchen trivets so as to not get the counter too hot. The oven in the house made the kitchen quite hot, so (Y/N) opened the kitchen window. They leaned over the counter, taking in the fresh air carried in by the breeze. They looked out at Home, it was still pretty early in the morning, but the neighbourhood was awake and lively as ever.

"Heyo (Y/N)!" Eddie called from the sidewalk, seeing (Y/N) in their window.

"Good morning Eddie!" (Y/N) waved to Eddie.

"You've got mail today! I've left it in your mailbox!" Eddie said, turning to continue his route.

"Okay, thank you, Eddie!" (Y/N) stopped leaning on the counter and stepped off of the stepping stool. They stretched before making their way over to their front door. They smiled as they opened the door, the bright sun lighting up the neighbourhood. (Y/N) walked out to their mailbox, grabbing a letter. It was a pretty red colour with green, blue, and yellow stripes on the corners of the envelope. (Y/N) took it back inside, closing their door behind them. They made their way back to the kitchen, carefully ripping the envelope open to reveal the small card inside. (Y/N) stepped back up onto the stepping stool, leaning one arm on the counter across from the window. They pulled the multicoloured card out of the envelope, opening it up to reveal a poorly written invitation to a dinner party. It was from Poppy, so it made sense to (Y/N) that she might have some trouble holding a pen and writing neatly with her large wings and all.

"Dear (Y/N), you're invited to my dinner party!" (Y/N) read out loud. "I will be cooking a few different (vegan) recipes and there will be lots of leftovers, so feel free to bring a container to take whatever you like with you back home! If you have any food sensitivities, please let me know! There will be games and entertainment provided by Julie and Sally. Lots of love, Poppy,"

"So, are you thinking of going?" (Y/N) jumped, squeaking out of surprise after hearing Wally. They turned to their window seeing Wally standing there. They looked down at Wally.

"Geez you scared me!" (Y/N) sighed, putting a hand over their heart, laughing.

"Sorry neighbour!" Wally laughed with (Y/N). "I came by because I could smell something amazing coming from your kitchen,"

"Oh, is it really that... strong?" (Y/N) asked, looking at the apple turnovers on their counter.

"I mean, it's a good smell that's for sure! May I ask what is making the smell?" Wally asked.

"...No. You may not," (Y/N) asked, looking back at Wally and giggling.

"Oh? Why can't I know?" Wally tilted his head slightly.
