Chapter 7 - You mess with her, You mess with me

After a girl arrived, Becky introduced her to us before we goodbye Nita and her team then we all separate to our classes but my friends stopped me.

"What is it? The class is about to start" I said to them.

"Well, nothing special but I just want to ask you something~" said Nam.

"Ok?"

"You like her?" Nam asked me.

"Hah? Who? Nita? We just met you know and even if it's for a long time, still no" I replied.

"Haha you sure have some sense of humor, Freeny" said Nam.

"She meant Nhong Beck, you stupid bookworm" said Kade.

"W-We're just sis-"I didn't get to finish my sentence.

"Pfftt!" they all laughed at me.

"What's so funny?" I said.

"You're always looking at Nhong Beck" said Nam.

"You're just overthinking it" I protest.

"How about when you got jealous by seeing Nhong Beck and Nita together" said Kade.

"It's not jealousy but it's my duty to be protective to our juniors"

"You were spacing out when you talked to Nita so I assume that she also like Nhong Beck"

"Wow Nam, why not use this afford more on studies" said Tee to Nam.

"Are you a detective or something??" I said to Nam.

"Of course not, because I am Captain Nam! Captain of FreenBeck's ship"

She said making me blushed.

"Ehh~ so you're blushing from my beauty~~?" Nam said to me teasingly.

"She's blushing from your FreenBeck, Jim" said Tee.

"Hey! Don't call me that ugly name! If u don't wanna call Nam then Matha instead!" Nam exclaimed.

"Enough enough, let's continue" said Kade.

"Ahem, so Freeny, you like Nhong Beck" said Nam.

"You want to kiss her" said Kade.

"You want to be with her" said Tee.

"And You want to be her wife" said Nam.

"Urghh! Stoppp!" I said, embarrassed and bonked Nam's head.

"UWU" said Nam.

"I can't think more than that ok?" I said to them.

"Why are you running away from your feelings Freen?" said Nam.

"It's ok to love someone that is younger or the same gender as you" Tee said to me.

"Is not that-"

"Freeny, answer this straightly. Do you like Nhong Beck?" Nam asked me seriously while both of her hands are on my shoulders.

"I...I'm not sure if this feeling is love" I replied.

"Aaaha!" Nam exclaimed.

"Aaa! Nam u bitch! You scared me!" Kade exclaimed.

"Do you want to prove if this is love or not?" Nam asked me.

"Y-yes...I guess?" I said nervously.

"Rightt! What you need to do is..."

Nam explained her plans to me, as time passes, now the school's over and I'm waiting for Becky at the school front door.

"Haah...What am I doing? Prove true love? nonsense" I mumbled, preparing to walk home when suddenly heard a sound from behind.

"Are you waiting for someone?" she asked.

"You" I said, looking at her.

"It's very late now, I will walk you back home"

"Aww~ you're always gentle and protective to everyone, how cute~" she said to me.

"I don't do this to everyone" I said, looking at her, making her silence for a while.

"Aaah...nice" she said, nervously looking away.

The atmosphere became awkward for a while but I came this far, I'm not going back.

"P'Freen" "Nhong Beck" we said simultaneously.

"Uhm! you can go fist- oww my tongue" she suddenly said, accidentally bit her tongue.

"Pfft" I giggled.

"I was just going to say that we should go" I said.

"O-oh ok let's go let's go" she said, leading the way.

As we chatted along the way to Becky's house, she suddenly bumped into a guy smoking by the pavement, causing his cigarette to fall off.

"Ah! Sorry" she said, bowing to the guy and was about to leave.

"Hey!" he said, catching Becky's arm.

"Please take your hand off her" I said, giving him a death stare. He then let go of Becky.

"Let's go Nhong Beck" I said to Becky.

"Not so fast, young girl" said the guy.

"I already said sorry, what do you want?" Becky asked him.

"How about sleeping with me tonight Hhm?" the guy said, touching Becky's hair then I pushed him away.

"Know your place" I said, furiously.

"Hah, Know your place, you bitch!" the guy said, lifting my shirt and pulling his punch. Becky then kicked him, making him fall to the ground.

"That was a warning, Don't touch her" Becky said, pulling my hand as we were about to walk away.

As we turned our backs, the guy suddenly approached us with a knife.

"Becbec, be careful!" I exclaimed, pushing her away.

"Ack!" I exclaimed, getting cut by the knife and collapsing to the floor.

"Tcz!" the guy said, preparing to stab me again. Becky appeared in front of me, grabbed the knife from his hand, threw it away, and punched his face.

"You mess with her, you mess with me" said Becky with a cold voice.

"This side of her...looks kind of cool" I thought to myself.

After what happened, a police officer nearby came to help us. Becky invited me to her home, where she bandaged my wound.

"Here, all done. And, uhm...I'm very sorry" Becky said with a sad face.

"You've already said sorry all the way here. Stop feeling guilty~" I said, smiling and pinching her cheeks.

"Aah! It's very late now" I said, looking at my phone.

"Thank you for bandaging me. See you tomorrow"

As I stood up, Becky pulled my shirt.

"Nhong Bec?"

"It's late now...why don't you sleepover for today?" she said, looking at me.

"Eh? Here!?" I exclaimed, blushing hardly.

"Yes" she replied shortly, making my heart pound like crazy.
