"Aa-ahh! It's hot in here. Can I take a shower?" I blurted out, desperate to break the awkward tension in the room.

"Sure, the bathroom is over there" she said, pointing to the left.

"I'll prepare some food and clothes for you"

"Th-thank you" stammered, grateful for her kindness.

Just as I was about to make my exit, Becky gently tugged at my shirt.

"Nhong Bec?" I said.

"Your arm is injured, and it shouldn't come into contact with water. So... let me help you" she said, her eyes locked with mine.

I couldn't help but wonder, "Is Nhong Bec really this brave? If she continues like this, my heart might give out!"

"Can't I?" Becky asked, her voice pleading and cute.

"W-well, sure, I guess..." I replied, my heart racing with anticipation.

In that moment, time seemed to stand still. I found myself standing under the warm water, with Becky carefully look out to my wound and washing my back.

Her touch, her breath, her scent... everything felt incredibly gentle and soothing.

"P'Freen" she called out, breaking me out of my daze.

"Y-yes?" I responded, my cheeks flushing.

"Are you okay? You seemed lost in thought for a moment" she said, a hint of concern in her voice.

"I'm okay, I'm okay... Let's go" I replied, trying to regain my composure.

"Aah! P'Freen, you forgot the towel" she exclaimed, handing me the
towel.

"R-Right! Thanks!" I said, quickly wrapping it around myself.

"I-I'll wait outside and prepare some instant noodles" Becky said, flustered, as she headed out of the bathroom.

"Pfft, how cute" I chuckled to myself.

After dressing up, we sat down together to enjoy the instant noodles.

As the night grew darker, we settled down to sleep. Sharing a bed, with Becky next to me, I found it hard to close my eyes and sleep peacefully.

"P'Freen, are you still awake?" she whispered.

"Y-Yeah" I replied softly.

"Can I ask you something?" she asked, her tone serious.

"What is it?"

"Do you... ever think about having a boyfriend?" she inquired, her voice filled with curiosity.

"Ehh? What's with the question?" I asked, taken aback.

"Well, you always give off this perfect student vibe, so I thought maybe you prefer being single for the rest of your life" she explained.

"Pfft! Is that how you see me?" I giggled.

"So... do you have someone?"

"A-aah...no" I replied, feeling a slight blush creeping up my cheeks.

"Well, then what's your type?" she asked, genuinely curious.

"I don't really have a specific type. It's more about how I feel when I'm with someone. If there's a connection, then it's them" I explained.

"That's so cool~ I wonder who the lucky person is that makes you feel that way~" she teased, yawning as she was about to drift off to sleep.

"Good night, P'Freen" she said, her voice soft and sleepy.

"Fortunately, the person I feel that way about is you" I whispered, gently patting her head as I let sleep take over.

Morning arrived, and I quietly made my way downstairs, careful not to disturb Becky's slumber.

Time flews by and it's now morning, I woke up and walk downstairs quietly not to wake Becky up.

"Let's prepare her some meal" I mumbled along while walking to the kitchen.

"Prepare for who?" a guy said, munching chips and looking at me.

"Who are you!?" I exclaimed and thought about the guy I and Becky encountered earlier.

"A thief!?"

"I won't let you hurt her!" I exclaimed, rushing to hit him with a book from the table as I heard a sound from behind.

"Waitt!!" Becky exclaimed, rushing downstairs.

"He's my brother!"

"Your- what!?"

Becky then explained everything and introduced her brother to me.

"I'm so sorry!" I said, bowing at him.

"You think just saying sorry will clear the problem?" said Richie.

"I'm very sorry! we encountered a similar situation before so I thought-" I didn't get to finish my sentence.

"Pfftt!" Richie and Becky chuckled.

"He was just joking around P'Freen anyways, thank you for caring me back then~" she said, smiling to me.

"Ahem! sorry for interrupting your lovey dovey moment"

"We're not-!" my sentence got cut by her brother.

"Girlfriends?"

"Nooo" Becky said, blushing.

"So what are your relationships then?" he asked.

"We're like sisters, like friends with..." Becky said, looking at me.

"With?" he asked.

"J-Just with, friends with" I replied, making him laugh.

"Hahahha, well it's nice to meet you Freen. I gotta go out for work now so see you later Freen, Becky" he said, waving at us.

"Bye" I and Becky said to him.

"Good luck on you're friends with relationship!" he exclaimed, walking out and closed the door.
