Rachels pov :
Its been 3 months since Finn came back and Lily and him seem to be getting along well. I was in my office looking over some music when there was a knock on my door. "Come in . " I said . The door opened and it was Mr.Shuester. "Hey Rachel its time to start. " He said. "Okay . " I said and just as I got up Mr.Shue said , "Can we actually talk for a second ?" He asked me. "Of course is everything alright?" I asked. "Yeah everything is fine. " He said. "Okay. " I said. "Rachel things are changing in my life and I want you to be the first to know whats going on . " He told me . "Okay. What's happening Mr.Shue?" I asked. "Rachel when I went to the doctors a couple of months ago they , they found out something . " He said . Suddenly I got really worried , "What did they find ?" I asked him. He took a deep breath and said , "Rachel, I have kidney cancer. " He told me. I sat down on my desk , "No, this can't be happening its not real, you're going to be okay right?" I asked panicked. "I don't know. " He told me . "Tell me you're going to be okay. I can't do this without you I can't run glee club without you it won't be the same . " I said. "Rachel you've been doing a great job with the glee club. I know you can do it on your own or else I wouldn't have hired you . You have so much potential and these kids they love you you'll be fine without me . " He said . "How do you know? " I asked. "I just do. " He said . "I can't do this without you. " I said. "Yes you can and you will. " He said. "When do you leave ? " I asked. "I start chemo in a month so I'll give my letter of notice to the superintendent in a couple of weeks . " he told me . "How are you going to tell everyone else?" I asked.
