Chapter 46

Rachels pov :
I walked into the choir room and saw everyone waiting for me . I sat on the stool and said , "Okay so does anyone have something they want to sing? " I asked. They were all quiet , "I actually do . It was before I joined the glee club. Mr.Shue had called me to his office and had accused me of putting weed in my locker , he said that he wouldn't tell anyone unless I joined the glee club as it turned though he lied about and I'm happy he did because if it weren't for him I wouldn't have joined. " He said wiping his tears . "It was after Finn and I separated. I came back to Lima with Lily and I needed help . He offered me a job and when I asked why he said it was because he had faith in me that I would do great things one day little did I know how right he was. " I said. "I'm going to miss him . " Quinn said. "We all are but he will always be in our hearts . " I said. "Its amazing how much you take for granted until its gone. " Kurt said . "We're going to get through this you guys. " Finn said. "Together . " I said. We all then got up and into our little circle , "New Directions on 3. " I said. "1, 2 , 3...... " "New Directions! " We all yelled and then got into a group hug . That night I walked into my living room and sat down at my kitchen table and took the letter that Emma gave me and opened it and started to read it :
"Rachel ,
If you're reading this than Emma did her job and you kept your promise . Rachel I want you to know that you are so talented and kind , I couldn't of have asked for someone better to run glee club . Rachel I am so proud of you for all you've accomplished, you've made me so proud to have been your teacher , your like a daughter to me . Rachel I want you to know something though , I want you to know that in the end everything will turn out okay and and if it not okay then it's not the end . You will do amazing things in your life. You are so blessed and so lucky to have people in your life that love and care for you so spend everymoment with them , love them unconditionaly because before you know it'll be gone and you'll miss it and please don't be afraid to fall in love again with Finn because you are going to need eachother more then ever so take of him and he will do the same with you , love isn't easy but that's why when you have it you need to hold on to it for as long as you can . As for Lily , you're doing an amazing job raising her she's lucky to have you and Finn as parents . You my dear sweet Rachel are going to do amazing things and in the end it will all work out . Oh and before I forget I want you to have my office you're the new leader of the New Directions so its yours . Do good Rachel and remember I'll always be there.

I put the letter down and held my heart and started to cry uncontrollably.
Finns pov :
I walked into the door to hear crying from the kitchen . I put my stuff down and walked into the kitchen , "Rachel?" I said. She was crying her eyes out so I came over to her sat down next to her and held her in my arms and we both cried .
(The next day )
I came into the choir room holding a case and saw Rachel sitting there with everyone else . "Hey did you get it ?" She asked me. "Yeah I got it . " I told her . I then opened up a case and pulled out the plaque and handed it to Rachel . She read it out loud , "The best teachers don't just give you the answers , they point the right way and let you make your own decisions . Your own mistakes. That way you get all the glory . And you deserve it. - William Shuester.
