Michelle was a little startled at the unexpected entry of the foreign object, let alone that it had almost hit Adonai. She wondered where the hammer had come from.
"Yes, yes it was." She replied to Adonai's question. Using the force, Michelle tried to pinpoint their attacker. She could feel the presence of not just one person, but two.
"There's two people here." Adonai looked at her. "Where are they?"
But before Michelle could answer, they heard a loud voice yell, "For Asgard!" The battle cry made both force sensitives turn toward the bearer of the voice. Running straight at them was a muscular man in weird looking armor. He had short almost dirty blonde hair that spiked upward at the front of his head. In his hand was a huge hammer which he twirled.
"Split up!" Michelle yelled jumping out of the way of the incoming tool. She immediately got out her purple lightsaber and kept her eyes on the stranger.
"Who are you?" Adonai asked His blue and amethyst lightsabers buzzed at his sides. The stranger seemed puzzled by this question. He caught his incoming hammer with ease before returning his attention back to them. Michelle was impressed by his skill with such a foreign weapon. None in all the galaxies had welded such a thing.
"I am Thor, son of Odin. Whom might you both be if you are not enemies?" The man boomed. He gestured a large hand toward both Adonai and her.
"I am Adonai and this is Michelle. We come in peace. We don't want to hurt you." Adonai replied. Michelle spoke up, "We got word of a strange energy beacon. Was that you?"
Thor looked back at her. "Aye, we had some trouble getting home. But don't worry. We won't bother you anymore." He answered.
"We? Who's we?" Adonai asked But before Thor could answer, Michelle felt a presence slowly creeping up behind her. She swung around and held her lightsaber to the intruder's neck. Just like Thor, he looked foreign. Michelle studied him as he smirked at her.
He had long ebony hair that was slicked back out of his face and fell to the tips of his shoulders. His green eyes met hers as she stared at him intensely.
They both didn't say anything until Adonai broke the silence between them. "Michelle stand down." She looked at her best friend and then back at the stranger.
Slowly she lowered her weapon away from his neck. But the frown on her face didn't fade. He had tried to kill her. She wasn't stupid.
"Standing down would be wise, yes." He said as he smirked at her.
"Loki!" Thor said lowly.
"You know him?" Michelle asked, turning her gaze to Thor. He looked uncomfortable before he replied,
"Yes, he's my brother." She stared at the two men dumbfounded.
"You two are brothers?" Thor nodded, but before he could say anything else, Loki interrupted, "Adopted not related. My 'brother' forgot to mention that little detail like he always does."
Michelle could sense the anger and resentment radiating off of Loki. Something told her not to say anything else on the topic. She only nodded in understanding.
"We were just passing through." Thor said, ignoring his brother's comment.
"If you were just passing through, then why did you throw that hammer at us?" Adonai asked, gesturing to the tool in Thor's hand.
"My brother told me something was attacking. I'm sorry if I startled you both." Thor replied
"It's alright." Michelle replied slowly walking away from Loki. She turned off her saber and hooked it to her belt.
"Since you were having trouble getting home, could we help you? I mean, it's the least we could do." Behind her, Michelle heard Adonai turn off his own sabers and put a hand on her shoulder. She turned to see him next to her looking upset.
"Michelle, can I speak with you alone?" He asked, gesturing away from the two brothers. She nodded and walked with him away from the markings on the ground.
"What are you thinking? We don't know these people! For all we know they are spies for the Empire!" He scolded "Really Adonai? How are they spies? They don't even look of this galaxy! I'm just trying to help them find their way home!" She growled. Adonai sighed and put a hand on Michelle's shoulder.
"I'm sorry Michelle. It's just, they're not from around here. There's something about them that's different."
Suddenly, they heard the buzz of a lightsaber. Michelle looked at where it was coming from. "Adonai!" She said, as her eyes grew wide. He looked where she was to see a young woman standing a few feet away from them. Her red lightsaber glowed bright making the trees seem as if they were bleeding. "Michelle and Adonai, it seems we meet again."
