"My girl helped the boy cheat." Watto the pudgy blue bug grumbled to Qui-Gon "She is a free young woman now. After your Sabulba had damaged it and broke half a dozen rules, I could be say you owe me more than you are giving me, but I am not going to bother about that with you. A deal is a deal and you should know whenever you gamble eventually you lose." He spoke humbly walking away leaving Watto to grumble to himself.

He left the building and motioned for Y/n to approach him, "I wanted to ask if you could have a look at our hyperdrive generator, perhaps you can help us fix its malfunctions and we can get off planet?"

Y/n nodded pulling out her communicator, "I'll be over there with him so you take this back,"

"You know Y/n you can get one of these yourself if the council take you in." The truth was that Y/n hadn't a clue what he was talking about. 'A council?' She smiled at him and walked away knowing that he would be speaking to her mother and brother about their leaving of Tatooine.

Obi-Wan saw her approaching the ship and looked as she waved at him through the ships window as she was walking towards the ship with arms full of what looked to be bits of scrap and a pre used hyperdrive generator. He walked out and smiled widely at her.

"You won, you're free!!"

"Hello to you too." She smiled very aware of all this sudden overwhelming freedom and change.

"You're a free person now, should you not be celebrating?" Obi-Wan asked not certain why she wasn't leaping out of her skin from joy tilting his head in confusion and looking rather softly at the girl worried something may have happened.

"Anakin has to make his decision to stay or go and as well as that I am leaving my mother here all alone." Y/n groaned walking into the ship as Obi-Wan took some of the things from her arms placing them down in the ship.

There was a moment of silence before he spoke up, "You can visit her if you do not take the Jedi code."

She pursed her lips together in a tight smile about to thank him only to interrupt her own thought process. "Do you not get to see your parents?"

"I don't particularly remember them to be honest." He stated not feeling much emotion towards the topic.

She began to lug the large hyperdrive generator onto the ship only for Obi-Wan To use the force to lift it and bring it through the ship for her, "thank you."

"Is this the old Hyperdrive generator?"

"Yes, it has some burnout scars but that aside it should have been in working order." Obi-Wan looked at the large plank of metal examining it for what could have been causing the problem

"Well right above the scar there is an area of leakage and if it did burn out then that will need replacing but it is fully salvageable with a few new parts." She pointed out above where he was initially looking, "I'll be done with this in no time, this isn't too bad at all to fix, I wouldn't be surprised if even you could replace this."

"I'm not sure if I should take that in a bad way." He grinned causing a small laugh to escape from her lips thinking that he seemed far more intelligent than half the beings on Tatooine working on these machines.

"Take it in whatever Jedi way you like. I will install this and then we can take off when the others are back." She said as if summoning the other bodies to come in.

She looked over to the door to see Padme walk through with a large lizard like species which she had seen vaguely twice before in her house and at the racecourse.

"Who is that?" She whispered over to Obi-Wan not looking away from the tall creature only for Obi-Wan to respond, "That's a tag along pathetic lifeform I happen to hav- Ow" He exclaimed feeling a small stinging pain in the side of his head from where the girl had flicked him.
