Ten Years Later

Two familiar Jedi stood in an elevator as it ascended through a tall tower in Coruscant.

"You seem a little on edge," Obi-Wan spoke up, glancing at his apprentice.

"Not at all," Anakin spoke, finishing adjusting his robes, trying to look as well as he could in the most subtle way possible and in the shortest amount of time.

"I haven't felt you this tense since we fell into that nest of Gundarks." Obi-Wan sighed Only for Anakin to look over to his master and send daggers his way, "You fell into that nightmare master, and I rescued you, remember?"

"Oh... yes." Obi-Wan chuckled, his laughter contagious as Anakin couldn't help but join in.

Obi-Wan looked over at Anakin, noticing how nervous he truly had become, "You're sweating. Relax. Take a deep breath."

"I haven't seen her in ten years, or my sister." There was a moment of silence between the two only for Anakin to break it once again, "Perhaps if we are lucky we can see them both today."

Obi-Wan was about to tell him off only for the elevator doors to open, revealing a shocked Jarjar Binks. JarJar looked at Obi-Wan in shock, "Obi? Obi! Mesa so smilen to seein yousa!"

"It's good to see you again." The older Jedi smiled bowing slightly. Jarjar not recognising Anakin lead the two Jedi into the main room while calling out to their

"Senator Padmé. Mesa palos here! Lookie lookie senator!" The Gungan spoke causing the woman to turn to look at the now present Jedi. "Desa Jedi arriven."

"It's a great pleasure to see you again my lady," Obi-Wan bowed as she approached the two with a smile evident on her face and what looked to be bodyguards following her.

"It has been far too long master Kenobi." She smiled only to catch sight of the taller man that stood beside her old friend. She tilted her head curiously not believing her own eyes.

"Ani? My goodness, you've grown." She smiled brightly causing Anakin to bow slightly and grinned at how happy she seemed to see him again.

"So have you, grown more beautiful I mean. Well, for a senator, I mean." Anakin was beginning to dig himself into a hole only for Padme to laugh it off.

Grinning she spoke, "Ani, you will always be that little boy I knew on Tatooine." before turning back to

They were moved over to a few sofas and were informed on their position, Padme being in the danger zone for being assassinated was the last thing they needed. Obi-Wan remained humble and spoke reassuringly reminding the Senator that they were going to protect her only for Anakin to make promises they couldn't guarantee they could keep.

"We will find out who is trying to kill you Padmé, I promise." Anakin jumped the gun and earned a harsh glare from Obi-Wan. Anakin's master spoke up correcting the young man vocally to inform both Anakin and Padmé where they stood as Jedi.

"We will not exceed our mandate, my young padawan learner."

"Y/n, your sister Ani, has already spoken to me of helping find who is trying to kill me." She admitted.

Both Anakin and Obi-Wan perked up hearing her name, "What?" The older of the two questioned.

"She may not be a Jedi but she is one hell of a protector. I'm sure she would love to see you Ani!" She beamed thinking of the three being reunited not knowing the odd feeling arising in Obi-Wans chest after thinking he had laid it to rest.

"We should stay with you at all times if the threat is this momentous." Obi-Wan attempted to excuse himself from having to know how it felt to look at her again and feel her presence in a room.
