(Certainly not my strongest chapter so bare with it...)
Obi-Wan was standing on his ship, Anakin, and his master standing side by side meanwhile Y/n was told to remain at the Jedi temple. he couldn't help but think back to his conversation with Y/n.
"And what about you, Obi-Wan?" Y/n asked, curious about his role in her brother's training. "Will you be involved in Anakin's training?"
Obi-Wan's expression softened, his eyes meeting hers. "I hope so. I would be honoured to guide Anakin on his path as a Jedi. But the Council will make the final decision on his training."
He had a feeling invading his chest whenever he thought about the girl. For the first time in his entire Jedi training, he knew he couldn't control the fact he was breaking a very essential rule of their practices, and he knew that he didn't want to let someone so valuable go.
Qui-Gon could sense his Padawan's presence was missing, "Obi-Wan, I think someone is trying to wave you off." He spoke, causing Obi-Wan to return to the present.
He looked out before the shuttle doors closed to see Y/n waving her brother off, and once the two made eye contact, she straightened her posture and smiled, "May the force be with you."
"And also with you." He smiled. Qui-Gon couldn't help but admire the two, knowing what was going on, but kept his mouth shut... until the doors closed.
The ship sped away at light speed to the Gungan empire in the hopes of gaining their assistance. Y/n stood on the busy platform alone, not certain what to do or where to go. The only places she actually knew were her room and the Jedi temples conference room. so instead, she decided to walk around and adjust to her new home.
Back aboard the ship, Qui-Gon watched as Obi-Wan and Anakin stood together, not speaking too much, "You know, Obi-Wan, this is Y/n's little brother. Perhaps make an effort to get to know him."
"I just, I don't think he is the chosen one is all," Obi-Wan mumbled, glancing down at Anakin.
"Even so, he means a lot to Y/n. Don't ruin this because of your bias to something I predict to be." Qui-Gon smiled only for Obi-Wan to look at him defensively.
"Ruin what, master?" He was hoping that Qui-Gon wouldn't mention what was on his
"It's okay, Obi-Wan. I can see what you feel for her -" Qui-Gon spoke causing Obi-Wan to look at him in shock and defensively spoke while trying to remain calm.
"Master, I am sorry. I will stop with this foolish behaviour." He needed to hide this and quickly.
"No, that is not what I am saying Obi-Wan. You can pursue this if you truly feel for her. But do not let this consume you." He spoke glaring at the boy wanting for Obi-Wan to be happy.
"The council should never find out."
Obi-Wan's eyes widened in surprise at Qui-Gon's words, a mixture of shock and uncertainty crossing his features. He hadn't expected his master to address his feelings for Y/n so directly. He knew that Jedi were not supposed to form attachments. He was considering, perhaps that this was a test from his master. But the genuine look in his eyes couldn't be denied.
"But Master, you know the rules," Obi-Wan said, his voice filled with a mixture of resignation and conflict. "We are not supposed to form attachments. It could lead to the dark side."
Qui-Gon placed a hand on Obi-Wan's shoulder, his gaze filled with understanding. "I am aware of the rules, Obi-Wan, and the dangers they present. But the Force works in mysterious ways, and sometimes, it guides us down unexpected paths."
