Walking hand in hand, both had content smile on their faces, feeling the evening air hit their faces. Taehyung had moved into the younger's house a day before with a few clothes of his, deciding to take his other belongings during the weekend as the company had informed that they will start their renovation work next week.
Soon they turned to a corner making the younger frown slightly, the sight of the familiar club making his heart beat fast, not in a pleasant way. He started trembling slightly, flashes of that day evening coming to his mind, how that monster had almost destroyed his life. Taehyung noticed the change in air and glanced to his side knowing his bunno was not feeling comfortable. He quickly pulled them out of that street entering to a very cute ice cream bar called Moonchild.
"Baby, are you alright?" the elder asked concerned....Jungkook shook his head still trembling slightly. "Do you want to talk about it?" Taehyung asked sighing in relief when Jungkook nodded saying yes. "okay then, I'll get an ice cream for you, sit there then we can talk whatever you want...okay baby?" he said making the younger sit in the corner of the ice cream bar going to order them their ice creams. quickly glancing at the digital board on the wall eyeing both their favorite flavors, he ordered the ice creams not wanting to make the younger sit there alone. He went back with two bowls of the strawberry and chocolate ice cream. As he neared the table, he saw that the younger was looking at another direction...specifically at someone. He followed his gaze only to see another man in a farther table sitting with an older woman almost the age of the younger's grandma.
"Baby?....are you okay?....who were you looking at?" he asked averting Jungkook from his daze.
"T-that was Kang's ex boyfriend from high school" the younger replied...."he said that his boyfriend cheated on him with some other person...b-but I don't think so...that guy must have escaped from him" he said sighing thinking about how many times Jimin had warned him in the past only for him to turn a blind eye to his friend's worry.
"Sweetheart...it's all in the past, he is no more....be strong...I will always be there with you in every step" Taehyung said taking the younger's soft hands in his. Jungkook smiled hearing his boyfriend's soothing words, nodding his head and happily taking the bowl of ice cream form the elder.
"The thing, why I was suddenly feeling low...it's nothing hyungie...just, that day when Kang chased me to my home and tried t-to....*sigh*" the elder immediately tightened his hold over Jungkook's hands comforting him...."yeah...that day I found him in the club on that street....and from there he chased me...so that's why I felt scared" the younger finished now pouting at his own weak heart that got scared after this long of a time.
Taehyung felt bad for the boy in front of him...only if they had met before...before all of this happened....he would have treated him like a prince.
"Sometimes I wish I met you right when you were born so that I could have been with you from the start , protect and love you with all that I have sweetheart" Taehyung said making the younger shy and blush only to giggle afterwards.
"Silly hyungiee....you were probably only two when I was born" *giggle* "Still babbling and wetting the bed" he said now full on laughing at his surprised boyfriend.
"Heeey!....even you wet the bed when you were younger....at least I had teeth that time...you were toothless" he said now imagining a toothless Jungkook making both of them burst in laughter earning the gaze of a few people in the ice cream bar looking fondly at the two cuties.

"Hellooo" Jin opened the door welcoming a beaming Taehyung and a sad bunno? "Aigoo, what happened Kook, why the long face?" Jin asked letting them enter the house. Not getting any reply from the little bunno he turned to Taehyung squinting his eyes. "You, tell me why he is sad.....did you scold my baby" Taehyung widened his eyes vigorously shaking his head.
"Hyungg!...why would you assume that...I'll probably kill someone who tried to make him sad" Taehyung said pouting making Jin look at him apologetically.
"Sorry Tae, I just became scared...well why is he gloomy then" he asked again eyeing Jungkook who was now curled up on the couch, still the smol pout on his face.
"Aish..its nothing hyun-"
"Don't you dare say its nothing again....I was so scared" Jungkook said voice breaking in the end, lips trembling. Taehyung sighed making his way to the younger, embracing him. Jungkook was almost hidden in his hug while Jin stood there not understanding.
"Well, we went for an ice cream date today...and while returning a bike came over speeding and kinda lost his control.....but nothing happened to me....he just you know whirred past me, but Koo got scared and has been sad from that time." Well Jungkook was not only scared...he was terrified and sad that he almost forgot about the promise he made himself that he will keep his Taetae safe.
"Oh my baby, it's okay...look here...hyung made you favorite fried chicken...now don't cry...come with me...let's go to the kitchen...I have so much to talk" Jin said trying to cheer the bunno. Hearing the name of chicken, the younger peeked his head from the elder's chest, still pouting. He whined taking his Jin hyung's hands and dragging him to the kitchen to do as the elder planned making Taehyung and Jin smile at the cute baby.
It was like a routine for all....now with a new addition of Bonhwa, well not exactly...he and his boyfriend used to visit Jin regularly too, but when Bonhwa became the CEO and his boyfriend went overseas for studies, the frequency just reduced a lot, all six of them came to Namjin's home during Friday evening for dinner...and if you are not present, you give a damn well reason to Jin or get your head hit by his pan.
Taehyung sighed taking his seat on the comfortable couch waiting for the others. Namjoon had gone for a shoot even if it was off for them while Jimin was on a shoot for a magazine and Bonhwa was busy with the monthly meeting making them arrive late. He was thinking why Jungkook had reacted this scared today evening, still not able to process the reason....he thought how the younger got panic attack that day and how he has been trying to keep him safe by driving him or being with him almost all the time...his head hurting at all the thoughts...he blinked his eyes trying to relax smiling as he heard the door bell and getting up to greet his friends.
