I haven't ever really experienced love in this kind of way. I always thought of having a sensual, kind of slow-burn type of falling for my sweetheart.

It came like lightning. She is basically lightning personified: Aurelia Taliesyn. From the moment she landed her eyes on me, she knew what she had to do. And she definitely succeeded in doing so.

We had actually slept on opposite sides of the cold sofa, never minding anything in the world. Not the nomadic force, which was slowly approaching the land of Gelida, not my sister, not the army inside the Fortress, which 100% wants to murder me in cold blood.

I could hear her slowly awake from her slumber in a few delicate movements, raising her back from the soft fabrics of the sofa. Her hands, searching for her glasses, found them near my waist, from where she picked them up.

Her witty side showed itself up once again, standing up on top of a half-awake myself, shaking me up with a smile.

"Morning, Your Highness."she simply whispered, as I raised my head, only to meet her gaze on top of me. "You sure do know how to make me feel uncomfortable."

Aurelia stood there stunned at my comment, only to realise I was just being playful.

"You didn't tell me that last night. Not once."

"Look at you, already teasing me. Get up, we have work to do."

"I wish they would just leave us alone for once..." Aurelia stretched her blouse, putting something extemporaneous for the time being.

"We just spent a night together, and you're speaking like we've been together for ages." I stood up, facing the opposite direction of her, putting on my formal dress I had yesterday.

I tried to tie myself my dress, helplessly reaching my back where the strings of the godforsaken garment were.

Aurelia reached up behind me, and gave me a helping hand, whispering to my right ear in the process.

"It just feels that way. I can't help it."

I reddened a little but kept my composure.

"Just hurry up, or the servants will notice that something's wrong."

She just leaned with her face closer to my right cheek over my shoulder, breathing down on my neck.

"Hey, why don't we play a bit more?"she said, seductively.

Escaping from the clutches of Eros, I moved away, much to her disappointment, and put on my expensive, cream white, silky socks, and black ballerina shoes.

Aurelia just stood there, disappointed, before she picked up her bra and a bunch of other clothes.

"Awwww, why so cold...meanie."she said, putting on her skirt.

In the next minutes, we were outside on the mansion, as my servants were bowing down at us, walking. Ophelia was just outside the door, waiting for us with the rest of the servantry.

"Miss Vesperite! Why did you lock yourself up inside the guest room?"Ophelia asked, walking next to me and Aurelia.

"Oh, we were just having-" Aurelia tried to say, but I glared at her to stop, before looking again to my servant.

"...just having fun, Miss Ophelia. Isn't that right, Vespertite?"said Aurelia, smiling deviously at me.

"What, did you think I would say something scandalous? You're so dirty minded; I love it."said my love-drunk partner, leaning against my shoulder.

Ophelia just looked at us, shocked.

"I will never understand the youth nowadays..."

Let me inform you that Ophelia is only a decade older than me. So uncharacteristic of her. A "boomer" I would call her, in my age.
