- Plot wise, given her connection to the blight, the taint, and the darkspawn, then bringing her into Origins as the beginning might be a good idea, obviously as only Alistair and the Warden are the only Grey Wardens at that point, they likely won't know the importance or the connection to the Blight but Riordan might. (It's possible that even Tessa doesn't know about her connection if it activated as her parents died, so they didn't have a chance to explain to her what it was) so perhaps bringing her in towards the end of Origins would better suit her, just for her to get that information about the Macula.
- Romance wise. As I said on the last page, having her linked to Grey Wardens because of the Macula is something I like. But it will depend on whether I go through DAII or just jump from Origins to Inquisition. But Anders and then Blackwall seem to fit. Obviously, Blackwall isn't a strictly Grey Warden character given his story.
- I am open to other love interests, Blackwall was just the one I thought of the most whilst writing up Tessa. Cullen would also work.
Because her Inquisition love interest would be her soulmate love interest, then I would prefer that she spend more time with them than with any other love interest. So maybe instead of Origns, maybe just Awakenings. Maybe the Macula has some link to the Architect and then she could romance Nathaniel or Anders in that and then it just does not work out and then it can skip to Inquisition or later DAII plots, time skipping over much of it but bringing her in to see Anders and see how he's changed since Awakenings.

"There's an old story that talks of the Prima Macula...The Wardens say it stems from the first corruption of man...and that it silently travels in the blood of certain families....But something happened in your family...They called it The Great Break...when the Macula awoke in Hugo de Vries centuries ago...It is said to care for neither good nor evil...and that it evolves with its host...to change things...to change the world..." - Riordan about the Macula and the de Vries to Tessa.
