Cody sighed as Tom and Skyler fought over something so stupid like who was the meaner teacher, Miss. Patti the vice principal or Mr. Persly the math teacher.

It got to the point where they would throw hands over something like whether spirit week sucked or not.

They ended up getting suspended for a day, but at least you can say it was an even fight.

Except Skyler ended up with a bite mark for days.

He tried his best to ignore the two bickering behind him as they made their way to the gym. He turned around just in time to see Tom absolutely eat shit because Skyler tripped them.

It was a loud clean 'slap' right on the floor and Skyler burst out laughing and other people in the hallway that happened to see also joined in.

Toms face turned bright red, and Cody wasn't sure if it was from anger or embarrassment.

Okay, maybe Cody also laughed a bit but the sound of him falling was funny. Tom quickly got up and went to go get a handful of Skyler's hair, but then the bell rang.

Cody sighed for the millionth time that week, "Guys hurry or we're going to be late"

The two turned to look at him and quickly went to follow him.

In all honesty, Cody was getting sick of the constant fighting, and he was going to do something about it.

So, what better thing to do then to lock them in the storage closet that no one uses during gym?

Cody was getting into Harvard with that idea.

So, he made Skyler and Tom go get a volleyball for him from the storage closet and then locked them in.

When the two heard the lock of the door, Tom was the first one to bang on the door.

"Cody what the fuck let me out!" Tom yelled through the door, and Skyler was quick to follow in his lead.

"Yeah, don't leave me here with him!" He walked behind Tom, but then shoved him out of the way and Tom almost fell.

"Hey, anyone would be grateful to be with me!" Tom told off Skyler, but he just rolled his eyes.

"You guys will be there until you make up." Cody yelled at them, and they heard him say something to someone.

Shortly after, he said"Mrs. Sally is calling me, see you when u guys make up." And like that, Cody left.

But Tom doesn't give up so easily, he still banged and yelled at the door for anyone to hear them.

On the other hand, Skyler had accepted his fate and went to lean against the wall.

The storage closet wasn't all that big, if he and Tom stood on opposite walls they would have only a small bit of space and that was not very good.

Tom eventually also accepted his fate and went to lean onto the opposite wall to where Skyler was.

"So what now?" Tom said. Skyler crossed his arms around his chest, "Not a single clue".

They ended up just glaring at each other and maybe cracking a few jokes, which was Skyler just making fun of Tom half the time.

But at least you can say that when Cody went to go get them from the closet, they were closer friends than they were before.
