Is this school rich or something?

During homeroom, the announcement of the century was announced at exactly 8:10 in the morning.

Yes half the class was asleep, yes the other half were talking and shaking Starbucks drinks.

You could probably guess which power puff girl was which and if you couldn't, Cody was the Starbucks girly, he wanted everyone and I mean everyone to know he had Starbucks at 8:10 in the morning.

Tom was half asleep. He was sitting at his desk lazily staring at the teacher waiting for him to start whatever he was going to start while having his head in his arms trying not to blink for too long, or he'll fall asleep.

Skyler was a bit of a mix; he was half asleep but awake enough to make conversations with other people, so an average school goer.

The class went quiet when the teacher finally spoke up

"We're going on a field trip for a week to a beach resort on Monday I expect everyone on their best behavior ill had out the packing list"

The class was quiet for a bit since half the class was half asleep; they just needed a moment to wake up and process the information they just received.

Once that moment passed, the class went crazy. No one was half asleep anymore, quite the opposite. Actually, they were screaming and talking to people across the classroom.

Even people like Tom that were a wrong blink away from falling asleep were filled with energy, and Tom was totally yelling at Cody about sand castle contests from across the room.

Tom looked at the packing list and saw 'surfboard' as one of the items, who the hell has a surfboard and why would they bring it on a week-long school trip?

Skyler smiled as he looked at what was on the packing list.

While Cody already had almost everything on it since he's in swim, well, except a surfboard duh.

I guess the teacher had let them get over their excitement for a bit, since he didn't yell at anyone or get anyone in trouble, he seemed amused more than anything.

Well, until it reached 8:20, and they had to do actual school stuff, but a win is a win.

When it was finally time for lunch, which all the freshmen were waiting for since it's only them that are going.

"Man, this school is fucking rich, like a beach resort," Tom said.

"Have you seen how big this school is man or the size of the auditorium" Said Cody at the same time Skyler said "The school literally has three floors"

"Okay fine rich people," Tom said, making a face, "You literally go here too!" Said Cody, throwing an apple at him.

If Tom had a penny for every time he's gotten an apple thrown at him during lunch he'll have two pennies, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

"This is the second time you've thrown an apple at me, Cody Jude!" Tom yelled at Cody, and Cody physically and mentally paused.

"Cody Jude?" He asked Tom, and even Skyler got curious and was watching the scene that was literally happening in front of him.

"Isn't that your full name?" Asked Tom back, even more confused.

"My name's Cody Ochoa, I'm literally Mexican" Cody said with the most straight serious face ever.

It took two seconds.

"You're Mexican!?"
"Your last name is Ochoa?"

I think you can guess who said which.

"Bitch, I'm literally brown, did you seriously think I was white!" Cody yelled back, actually offended at Tom, who was now holding his head like if you just told him Taylor Swift died in a car crash at 34.

"I'm British, everyone looks and talks like the same man!" Tom was now going through a crisis.

And Skyler was cackling in his seat like face red doubled over gripping onto the side of the table.

He could have missed this golden scene right in front of his very own two eyes if he didn't decide to be nosey and listen to their conversation.

"Isn't Cody Jude a character from My Stranger Diaries?" Said Skyler, making the situation way worse than it already was.

Tom turned red, "My sister watches that!" While Cody was searching up who the hell the character was.

"You confused me for that ugly fuck!" Yelled out Cody once he finally saw the character pointing his phone at Tom.

"I didn't think it was you, your names are just both Cody." Tom yelled he was seconds away from falling onto the floor and debated the meaning of life.

God, if this is lunch then how will the beach resort go?

And Cody may or may not need to update his plan.
