Tom absolutely regretted not wearing Sunscreen to the beach. He was doing the walk of shame to the bench (more like a picnic table) under the tree by the front of the school to get to the Powerpuff Girls.
His face looked like he was constantly blushing, and it hurt like hell. Not only that, but it was embarrassing too, I mean- Who even gets sunburned in this day and age.
Maybe his face looked like he was blushing, well because he was.
The closer he got to the bench, he heard the conversation that Cody and Skyler were having.
"They said that the trip was for a week, but it only lasted like four days really," Cody said with exaggerated hand motions.
Skyler nodded "They're scamming us man" he said before turning to look at Tom, who was now sitting in the seat in front of them.
Skyler literally leaned over the table just to give him a kiss. Tom smiled into it before Skyler's face touched a part of his that was burnt.
He pulled back, "Ow bro can you guys believe I got sunburned?!" But instead of getting made fun of, Tom got a shell shocked Cody and a smug Skyler.
He tilted his head to the side, "What?"
"You guys just basically kissed in front of the entire school, look around, Tom!" Cody aggressively whispered.
Tom turned his head to look around and saw multiple shocked people staring as if they couldn't believe their eyes.
Oh, yeah, he had forgotten that he and Skyler had a whole hating each other bit there. Tom turned even more red and whipped his head back to where Cody and Skyler were.
"Skyler, what the fuck?!" He hissed, and Skyler literally just laughed the audacity. "I just needed to let everyone know the new status" He shrugged.
Tom's jaw was on the floor, and so was Cody. When he finally snapped out of it, he absolutely smacked Skyler's head.
"Ow!"
Cody burst out laughing as Tom sat back down on the bench and Skyler put a hand where he was hit.
Looks like things were going to be a bit different after all, but summer was right around the corner and the whole squad was avoiding Allison like if she was a deadly disease.
Man, summer was going to be something.
