Mission impossible type shit

Skyler genuinely spent most of the day in the hotel room with a notepad and pen he brought in case he got bored during the bus ride.

Look, drawing may be Tom's shit, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like to draw.

The only time he really wasn't planning was when he went out surfing, and he fell from the waves more than once, since his mind was somewhere else.

At the end, Skyler thinks he got a pretty solid plan, obviously not like Cody's Harvard ideas but maybe a Stanford idea.

He was sitting in an ice cream shop, notepad in hand when he saw a familiar face.

"Owen?" Skyler questioned as the ladder sat in the seat in front of him.

"Hey Skydude I don't think we ever properly met" He said, brushing the dyed streak away from his eyes and Skyler smiled.

"No, I know you, You're Cody's boyfriend" He said while putting the notepad down and laughed when he noticed the tips of Owen's ears go red.

"That's me alright I was gonna bounce but since I saw you I wanted to enlighten you" He said and then pointed to the notepad.

Skyler blushed.

"Did you know we've been playing out one of Cody's ideas, more specifically you" Owen's finger went from the notepad to Skyler.

"Me?" He said in confusion. He hopped that maybe Owen would clarify that but he just shrugged.

"And so far, it's been all going according to plan." He stood up from his seat. "So you better not fuck up tonight, Skydude"

"See you around Buttercup" He said finally and left and once he was out of Skyler's view.

"How the fuck does he know? And why am I Buttercup!" 

Later that night, when the lights were already off and both Tom and Skyler were going to sleep, Skyler opened his eyes and suddenly turned towards Tom.

•Step one, ask to go to the beach.

"Hey Tom, wanna go out to the beach?" Skyler stage whispered to Tom.

Tom opened his eyes, "Right now?" And Skyler smiled, "Fuck yeah dude" Tom returned the smile.

"Then what are we waiting for"

And that's how they ended up sitting on the beach at 12:00.

The moon illuminating the waves could only be described as unreal. The two boys let the sound of the waves be the only sound between them

•Step two talk to him

"What's the actual reason you moved to the states?" He said, turning to look at Tom and Tom smiled at him "Deep questions at 12:00 cool".

And Skyler mentally panicked and not for a good reason either, "Oh shit dude I didn't mean to make that deep" Waving his hands around like a maniac.

Tom laughed, "Don't worry about it man it's actually not that deep." He turned to look at the waves.

"My brother tried to kill himself, so after he recovered my parents decided to move to the states for a change of scenery"

Skyler looked like a goldfish, "Mr. Jameson?!"

"Nah Timmy" a pause, "Of course James dude!" But Tom must have realized Skylers expression and quickly added "But he's good now, I swear".

•Step two talk to him, Not anymore
•Say something deep too

"I get it my sister moved to a whole new state because she couldn't take it anymore. Now i only ever talk to her once a month or so" Skyler said, turning to the waves too.
