The night sky was illuminated by the bright orange and red flames that had consumed the hunter's camp. The dragons had left nothing standing, and their fire had also burned the remains of the traps and cages that had once held captive dragons. Saffron felt a sense of relief, knowing that she had played a part in ensuring that no more dragons would have to suffer in such a manner.

As they soared back to their territory, Saffron couldn't help but feel a sense of elation. She had never felt so alive. The rush of battle, the thrill of victory, and the knowledge that they had protected their kind had filled her with a sense of purpose she had never felt before.

She glanced over at the other dragons flying beside her. They too were grinning, their eyes shining with the same fierce determination that had driven them into battle.

Saffron led them back to their clan's territory, where they were met with cheers and applause from their fellow dragons. The word of their victory had already spread, and many of their brethren had gathered to welcome them home.

As the celebrations continued into the night, Saffron couldn't help but feel grateful for the sense of community and belonging that she felt among her clan. They were her family, her friends, and her protectors.

She knew that they still had a long road ahead of them. The threat of dragon hunters would always be present, and there were still rival clans that posed a danger to their way of life. But Saffron was more determined than ever to fight for her kind and protect her clan.

The battle had only strengthened her resolve, and she knew that she was capable of facing any challenge that lay ahead.

As the night wore on and the dragons settled into their rest, Saffron felt a sense of peace wash over her. She closed her eyes and let the warmth of the fire and the sound of her fellow dragons' breathing lull her into a deep sleep.

For the first time in a long while, she felt truly at home.
