"You know what? I'm sick of it, all of it! And of you! Who do you think you are? My patron? My all so generous saviour? You can have what you want. No more Kaveh bugging around your house."
Before Alhaitham could even open his mouth, Kaveh grabbed his suitcase and shut the door with a loud bang, from the outside. Then silence fell over the apartment. Puzzled the grey haired man sat down on his sofa. Did he really... just leave? Well, at least there was no one eating his food anymore and all the books stayed in the places he put them. He didn't need him, he didn't need Kaveh.

For a moment, the blonde haired man stayed in front of the house. Careful no to be seen... and hoping the wooden door would open again. No! Not happening, not even wished! For how long did he want to leave that cage of a house? He couldn't even call it a home. Not in a whole lifetime. With narrowed eyebrows and a death glare he stomped away.
A few days he stayed at the tavern, not wanting Tighnari to know of their fight. He had enough to do with his projects and deadlines.
"Mr. Kaveh, are you listening?", the young woman in front of him asked as he came back from his thoughts. Her green eyes fixated him sceptically. Green, almost like the ones of... Kaveh shook his head. "Sorry, what was it?" The woman sighed. "I said I wanted a square roof over the entrance, not a round one. And I would like to remove that wall in the basement to have more space. Would that be possible?" She pointed on his sketches. "Oh right... right. I'ma fix this and show you in two days, okay?"

"I'm home", Alhaitham said, by habit. There was no one to answer anyway. His steps echoed in the hallway as he made his way to the kitchen. A few rations of his ex-roommate's cooking were still left in the fridge. "Soon I have to start cooking for myself. What a drag." Heavily he sat down at the chair and started reading a book he had left there after breakfast. Usually Kaveh would have put it on the shelf, complaining that they shouldn't even be there. The blonde idiot was always fuzzing over his books as if nothing else had space in Alhaitham's life. He probably wasn't wrong, but was that a bad thing? Seeking knowledge in the nation of wisdom? Better than never reaching goals because if unnecessary personal affairs in any case.

"Kaveh, I'm sorry. I missed you so much", Alhaitham said, sitting down next to Kaveh on the cliff. Around them nothing but an endless sea of sands. "How... How did you find me?", the blonde haired man asked. "I would always find you." Hesitantly the taller guy reached for his hand. "You know, I never told you that, but I... ugh!" Suddenly all the light turned red, crimson like blood. Alhaitham's body fell backwards, pierced by the sting of a scorpion. "Alhaitham!" Quickly Kaveh drew his claymore and split the hostile animal in two halves. "Alhaitham!" He grabbed onto the body, holding his head in his hands. "Haitham, please don't..." - "Ka-veh", he whispered. "No, don't talk. I'll save you... I have to!" - "Kaveh, I... I..." Then the light slowly faded from his eyes and the hand that had reached out to Kaveh's cheek fell to the ground.
