I knew instantly that that person was Gray. I wanted to touch him, but was that really the thing I should do. He left me out here for a whole hour in the cold!!! I should have the right to butch slap him.

I stepped back, tears lightly brimming my eyes, my legs and arms shaking from the cold night air. I stared up at Gray, just the sight of him made me weak.

"(Y/N), I'm sorry I'm late." Gray spoke.

"You're not sorry!!! I waited out here for a whole hour!! You were getting my hopes high just to be shot down!!" I retorted his apology.

Gray shook his head," You just don't understand, I was late for you."

"For me? And what was I? Early?" I shook my head,"I can't believe you, I actually thought you were a decent guy who might actually like me, but I was wrong! You're just a douche bag who was so desperate to go to the dance!!"

I walked past him, tears now streaming down my face. My wrist was grabbed, yanking me back.

"Will you at least let me explain?" gray asked.

I turned around and stared at him for awhile, then slowly nodded.

"I just lost track of time is all, I was-"

"Lost track of time?? What were you doing? Watching porn??" I yelled/asked.

He started again,"I was out shopping, I wanted the whole night to be perfect, everything. I lost track of time at a dress store. I k ow you're not much into shopping for things like this, so I went ahead." Gray lifted his hand to hold a huge bag I hadn't noticed until before. He handed it to me.

Taking it, I opened the bag to find a handsome tuxedo that must of Ben for Gray, but gasped when I saw what else was inside. In the bag was a beautiful dark purple dress. Pulling out, I was how magnificent it really was. The dress reached down to my ankles. Light purple ruffles surrounded most of it. I stared at it, I've never seen anything like it.

A clearing of a throat brought me back to reality. Looking up, I caught Gray's gaze, he was smiling with a stupid smirk. I bit my trembling lip.

"I knew that color was for you," Gray stepped close towards me and gently put the dress back in the bag," I...I...uh...I wanted it to be perfect," Gray lightly blushed," this is the first time where I wanted something so bad. (Y/N) I like you a lot, I might even say love, I wanted the dance to be perfect. The reason was late was you, technically speaking. I wanted you to look my breathtaking than you already are, which is close to impossible because nothing compares to your beauty."

"Ano ((umm in Japanese))..." I looked down at my feet and blushed.

"Will you do me the honor of attending the dance with me, the oh so fair Princess (Y/N)." Gray bowed, holding out his hand.

I gigged softly and took his hand,"Why of course, Prince Gray."

Gray straighten up and held me close, "Thank you for saying yes."

I looked up at him,"Thank you for returning my feelings." My face was covered in a bright crimson blush.

"Why of course, my fair maiden."

I giggled once again as Gray pulled me into a kiss.
