"Jake!!! Watch out!!!" I screamed, but that was her chance. I lost focus, and she knocked me to the ground, locking her vines around my arm.

"Ash, I'm sorry." I stare in horror as she swings her axe towards Jake's head.

"No!!!!" It felt like everything slowed down. The memories I had with him flashed before my eyes. He reminded me of my brother, and it felt like it was all being taken away again.
"Someone help!!!!" I scream.

Suddenly, the little girl looks behind me and changes form. Aiden?

I turn around to see the league fighters dashing towards us.

"Aw looks like our fun will have to continue some other time." Her dupe disappears and she was about to too but that meant the vines disappeared which meant....
I quickly stood up and began striking her with my sword.

She kept dodging, but it was just enough time for the league to push me out of the way and jump in front of me, taking her on. I quickly move away and rush over to Jake.
"Jake, let's go."

I try and grab his hand, but the little girl's dupe comes back, knocking me to the ground.
I try to get up, but her vines tie me down again.

"I just need to see." She grabs my mask, pulling it off of me, but I cover my face with my arm.
Suddenly, Aiden quickly lunges forward, slicing the dupe. It made it disappear, but she was still alive.

"Strike!!" I look at Aiden to see her running at him with her axe.

"Aiden, move!" I jump forward, and our swords clash again.

I was still covering my face with my arm.
"Cover your faces!! She's copying your look!!!" I shout, holding my sword still.

"You're getting on my nerves."
She pushed me back and turned back to a little girl because everyone was covering their faces.

"I'll kill you next time." She then disappears in thin air.
"Crap!" Aiden punches a tree, frustrated.

I quickly ran to my mask and put it back on.
I was feeling pretty dizzy, with only a few scratches here and there, but taking it on for so long made me give up.

I fall to the floor, not having much energy left.

"I'll take him to get checked on." It was Aiden, lifting me in his arms.

"You never care about making sure they get checked up on." One of them says, confused.

Aiden shrugs to their comment, and I pass out in his arms.

And hour went by and I had woken up with a massive headache,

"Ugh." My head.
I look around to find myself back inside the medic tent. And Aiden was lying on a chair with a book on his face. Was he sleeping?
Crap. He's going to yell at me. I quickly but slowly tip toe to my hood behind him.

I slowly grab it in my hand, but he suddenly grips my arm tightly. "What are you doing."

He takes the book off and looks at me up and down.

I realize that... I was in only underwear and a bra. "Oh my gosh, you perv!!!"
I scream, throwing his book at him.

"What the heck!!!" He covers his face with his hands.
I quickly put the hood on me.

"Okay... fine, you can look."
He looked up at me, and for some reason, when his eyes met mine, I felt my cheeks go red.

"Never mind." He rolls his eyes, standing up, about to walk away.

"Wait, what...."

"Belle.. is it?" He asks, not looking at me.

How did he know my name?

"You're not in any records. It doesn't even show up that you were born."

"So now you're asking people about me?" I knew he had asked the lady I'd been staying with. Meredith.

"You do know I could turn you in at any time?" He turns around, grinning at me.
I step forward towards him and smirk at him.

"You wouldn't. Why? Because you know I'm stronger than anyone here. And you're almost absolutely certain that I'll make it to your rank."

He suddenly grabs his sword and puts it against my throat.

"You'll never make it to my rank. Why? Because you aren't fast enough-
Suddenly, I trip him, making him fall to the ground."Yeah. Okay."

"You do know that it's not just about being fast. It's about that if one day you mess up and show who you are, they'll have you killed." He gets back up, placing the sword on his back.

"So when the training comes up and it's time for them to choose who to join us. You should back down."

I shake my head. "I'm not backing down."

"Then you'll die." He turns around one last time to leave.

"Wait Aiden." I grab his arm.

"What."

"Train me then."

He looks down at me. "You want me to train you?"

"Yes. Train me so I can be just as good as you so I can protect myself. If you say I'll die, then train me so I won't."
