Chapter 1: A First-year student named Isagi Yoichi

It's either victory or defeat. The only thing that is worth it is betting your money as well as your mind, Gambling is not about money, is about destroying everyone's life as well as their mind.

Greetings, my name is Isagi Yoichi and I'm a first-year student at Tsugikini Boarding school Academy and also a high-intelligent gambler in my family's life. For as long as I can remember, I remembered my father, bringing me into a fancy casino and bets on everything.

When one day, my father told me how he met my mother, but it was something unexpected. My mother was being held as a "Prize" for those who attends the Casino's grand event and eventually my father won and that's how he met her.

My mother was kind-hearted person with a bright smile on her face, she used to sing me a lullaby every night when I'm about to sleep. I heard that my mother was a former gambler in her family, but because of her family's debt from the Kiyoshou loan shark industry, they've became poor and poor.

My mother tried to pay their debt by gambling a bigger price in a casino one day, but sadly, she lost the bet and another debt has been added, eventually she met a few men in the Casino and offered her to sell her body to them and her debt will be wiped clean.

My mother has been suffering all those years when she finally met my father. My father was a successful and professional gambler in his family, he bets and he wins the entire board. My father treated my mother gentle and nicely unlike the other guys she slept with.

4 years later, I was born in my mother's womb and was finally see the outside world. I was on my mother's arms, tears coming down through her cheeks as she shows a bright smile on her face. 

As I grew older, I become obsess and obsess with gambling, even in a young age I've win every game of it. My father was proud of me and he said  that I'm going to be a successful and professional gambler like him in the future.

My mother was also proud of me, but one day, she told that "My dear Isagi, when the day comes, used your gambling skills as well as your mind to defend the people's debt, not only that, don't make gambling a living hell to others, do you understand my dear?" She asked me with a bright smile on her face.

"Yes mother" I exclaimed as my mother gave me a warm hug. When one day, my father enrolled me into Japan's private boarding school academy, where students from wealthy families learns history, biology and other subjects. 

My mother agreed to enroll me to that boarding school academy, but little do she knows that during night time, the tables had turns and the school will turn into a gambling den, where students gambles and bets for their life.

I don't know if my father enrolled me there on purpose or not, or maybe he finds out about the school's night time and the gambling's game or something.

(Present Timeline)

Tsugukini boarding school academy. A school where students from wealthy families studies history, biology and other subjects, but on the other hand, attitudes changes as the night of gambling starts over.

Upon arriving at the school gate, I got out of the car and walk through the hall of the school. There were beautiful red roses scattered around the school area, as I took a deep breath before going inside of the school.

As I step in the school area, there were students chattering and studying in the classroom and in the hallway, some of the students were talking simultaneously and the others doesn't. It was almost 8am, so I have to go before it's too late.

Along the way, I saw a student with a red sash on his uniform. I assume he's one of the student councils, after I've arrived at the classroom, I knocked at door as I took a deep breath before entering the classroom,

"Everyone, I want to meet our new student joining us" The teacher exclaimed. "Greetings, my name is Isagi Yoichi" I muttered as I bowed down towards them as a sign of respect and said "I'm looking forward in meeting you" I muttered before letting out a small smile on my face.

The teacher told me that there's a seat in back, I walked towards the empty chair and sat there. Beside me, there was a student with a black hair with yellow under highlight on his hair and he was sleeping.

The teacher walked up towards him and slams the desk and said "Meguru Bachira! How many times do I have to tell you!? No sleeping in class! If I found you sleeping in my class again, detention for you!" The teacher exclaimed as the student woke up from his nap and carefully rubbing his eyes.

As the teacher leaves the classroom, the student's attention went up to me and said "Do you know to gamble?" The student asked me. I nodded as a sign of a agreement. "My name is Bachira Meguru, charmed I'm sure" Bachira exclaimed as he stood up from his chair. "My name is Isagi Yoichi, nice to meet you Bachira" I replied back.

"Say do you know how to play doubled-concentration, Isagi Yoichi?" Another student joined in. "Oh it's you Kira" Bachira muttered. Kira let out a smile before clapping his hand two times as the students closed the window, arranged the desks and chairs. 

"Well then, shall we give it a try?" Kira muttered as gives me a devilish smile before pulling a box of cards underneath the table. "Let the game begin" Kira muttered. "Kira! Kira! Kira!" As the sound of the students cheering up for him and he waits for me to sit on that chair across him.

Kira smirks as he shuffles the cards across him, I took a deep breath and walks towards the chair and sat there. "What game are we playing" I asked him.

"Just a simple game of poker" Kira exclaimed while distribiuting the cards. "How much you wanna it?" I asked. "10,000,000 Yen" Kira smirked as the cheering of the students increases. "You?" He asked me. "20,000,000 Yen" I replied back with a cold tone. 

Bachira smirked and said "Hmph nice" Bachira muttered. Kira grinned even more as he said "Alright, let us begin" Kira exclaimed. Bachira let out a giggled before saying:

 "This is going to be interesting...."
