"Is he seriously going to play?!" One of the students whispered. I looked back at them, letting out a glare before pulling out the chair and sat down.
The host shuffles the cards together and hand me a gun and said, "There's some bullets beside you, you can fill up the chambers if you want" The host reminds me as I reached out my hand to grab it,
"Alright then, how much are you going to bet? I've almost forgot, what's your name?" The host asked me. "I'm going to bet 5,000 yen and my name is Isagi Yoichi, but call me Isagi instead" I replied back,
"Hmm, how much bullets did you fill up your chambers with?" The host asked me as he hands me the cards. "Since there's only 6 chambers in the gun, I've put 3 bullets in each chamber" I replied back,
the host smirked and said "Alright, let the game begin" The host exclaimed, "Excuse me but you haven't bet your money yet" I exclaimed as let out a devilish smirk on my face. My question caught the host's attention and lets out a small chuckle and said "You got a sharp mind in there" The host smirked. "Well if you so, I'll bet 10,000 yen in total" The host muttered as the game officially begin.
End of POV:
As the game starts, both students placed their cards on the deck and waits for the screen to appear. After they placed the cards on the deck, the screen reveals the cards as the students slowly flips their cards one-by-one.
The hosts seemed confident while the audience casually watches the match up close. Isagi, on the other hand, was calm and never bothered to express any worriedness. All cards has been flipped and to their shocking surprised, the first match was a draw.
Isagi seemed confident that he could win the whole match but the hosts doesn't let him win for a chance to go. The host then lets out a fake smile and said "Well, this is a great match isn't it? I'm gonna be honest Isagi you could actually be the first one to get a draw or second...but it doesn't matter now anyway" The host played it off.
As the game continued until the 4th round appeared, Isagi manages to to get 3 ties in a row. To which, the students were surprise. The host seemed pissed off and keeps it on himself and said "Well, this is interesting. Let's move on the next round shall we?" The hosts suggested. Isagi agreed that he's confident that he might win.
The Host's POV:
"This damn...bastard...! How did he able to get a tie in a row?! Tch doesn't matter, I'll destroy him one-by-one" I exclaimed as I placed my cards on the deck.
"Just you wait, I'll destroy you and get Kaiser's attention to me, he'll see me as a gambler that he's willing to destroy. I'll do whatever it takes to destroy you" I exclaimed.
End of POV:
As the cards has been set, they flipped it one-by-one. To their surprise, Isagi lost 1 card in the match to which, it leaves 2 - 3 which the host takes the lead. The host then chuckles as he picks up the gun nearby.
"Y'know for a new student like you, you really have your ways to get under people's nerves huh? Well that's too bad because it's over for you" The host smirked as he held his gun at isagi's head as Isagi was seemed surprised.
"Any last words?" The host asked him, Isagi smirked devilishly as he slowly lifts his heads and gave off a devilish look and said " Pull the trigger I dare you" Isagi calmly respond to it, the students were deep shocked as well as the hosts, the hosts the smirked As he host pulls the trigger, silence took over the room, as the sound of the gun was no where to be heard.
The host was then shocked and ask himself "What? Why isn't there any bullet in here?' He asked himself as he opened the gun's chamber and saw no bullet was placed in the chamber. "could it be...? Is this the gun he filled with? He filled no bullets inside of it?!" He exclaimed.
Isagi then lets out a laugh before saying "How naive, you should at least check the weight of the gun you know, it's obvious that the gun is empty because it's light, if the gun is loaded the gun could have been heavier" Isagi smirked.
End of POV:
"Now let's start with the final round shall we?~" Isagi smirked, the host seemed frustrated and said "Tch! To think that a first-year like him could possibly defeat me?! No! I will not!"
As Isagi grabs the cards and began to shuffle it, I tried his best not to make it obvious, if he founds out, he might get the chance to win,
After Isagi shuffled the cards, he pass the cards towards them. Isagi seemed confident placing his cards orderly on the table while the host seemed unsure and nervous. Isagi finally takes the hint and decided to keep it a secret for now.
As the last round begins, they flipped and manage to get a tie, 1 point for each of them. Then on the second match, they flipped but also got another tie.
Isagi seemed pissed off as he wanted to win so badly, on the third round, they flipped once again before they get the chance to flipped it, Isagi looks at the host and said "Your nervous I see, I can see that in your face. Aren't you the host? what's the matter? Aren't you the one who owns this game, you should be confident about the game y'know, after all I'm only a first-year student and what's wrong with that?" Isagi asked him.
"...." The host didn't reply, Isagi seemed pissed off and said "Pathetic" he muttered as they flipped their cards and got another tie,
"Your question earlier..., despite being a first-year student who knows about gambling is quite frustrating, I just wanted to do nothing more than to kill you with my bear hands, I will defeat you! All of you! I am the best gambler! Kaiser's respect is mine!" The hosts exclaimed as he quickly flipped his card.
The room went silent, his eyes were trembling and realizes that the card he put was wrong, he then looks at Isagi who was glaring at him for a whole time and said "Are you done now? Y'know all you said about defeating me and shit is totally bullshit, and I guess I'll be taking the lead now" Isagi lets out a devilish smirk as he slowly flips the card and reveal that his card is correct. "Checkmate~" Isagi smirks.
