After arriving at the school hallway, I quickly saw Bachira sitting in the corridor of the Hallway. I waved my hand and said "Bachira" I exclaimed as Bachira turned his attention to me, he let out a smile and said "Ohayo! Isagi-kun" Bachira exclaimed as he walks towards me.
"Are you ready for today's Event??" Bachira asked me excitedly. "Ready as I'll ever be" I replied back, "Where's Chigiri?" I asked. Bachira shrugged and said "I haven't seen him ever since I got here" Bachira stated.
"Hmm strange" I muttered. "I'm sure Chigiri is here somewhere, come on let's go back to the classroom" I dictated. As me and Bachira walked in the second-floor hallway, he then ask me "Say Isagi, what did the president told you yesterday?" Bachira asked me.
"The president?" I asked. "Well, he told me that if me, you and Chigiri win the Event, the three of us have access to the student council's den and challenge them" I explained. "Sheesh nicee one Isagi-kun" Bachira laughed.
"Ohayo Chigiri-kun!" Bachira exclaimed as we enter the classroom and saw Chigiri. "Ohayo Isagi, bachira. You guys ready?" Chigiri asked us. "Yup" Both of us muttered at the same time.
"So like, there's going to be class or not?" I asked. "Nope" Bachira muttered. "Come on, let's go" Chigiri dictated as the three of us left the classroom, "Hey are you guys nervous?" Chigiri asked us. "No why?" I replied back.
"You see, there's a lot of students participating in this event and some of them are pretty good" Chigiri explained. "Not as good as Isagi haha" Bachira exclaimed. "You will never know unless we see them" I replied back.
"Say Chigiri, since you and Bachira enrolled at the same time before me, surely you knew what the event's games are right?" I asked. "Yes I'm aware of that, but I haven't joined one ever since I've enrolled here but this is the first time I ever joined." Chigiri muttered.
"Well, since you're aware of it. Could you tell us what games they held?" I asked him. "Well, for as long as I can remember. Each games will be held among the student councils."
"For example, Rin Itoshi plays Choice poker, his game consist only two players. The players may only bet or raise. The player who bets the most money during the turn then may decide to choose the rankings for the round: stronger or weaker. There is no limit to the bets that may be placed to achieve the chance to choose as long as it is valid."
"On the other hand, His brother Sae Itoshi, Plays Nim Type Zero. His game consists four players, The game is played with a deck of cards special for the game, labeled with the primary colours (red, blue, yellow) and green and numbers from 0 to 3. The deck is shuffled and four cards are dealt to each player. Players start betting with chips before the game starts, and can call, raise, or fold in relation to the bet. Although, Sae likes to torment his enemies. To do so, The president create a new rule for his game. when a player raises the total sum above 9, meaning when they lose, they have to prick their finger on nails polished with poison. To balance this, a new method of betting is introduced: serum syringes to combat the poison are worth 100 chips."
"Some students who loses to Sae were force to prick their finger on a nail polished with poison. That explains why there isn't much students who wants to defeat him" Chigiri explained. "But you know, some of the students councils only plays intermediate games but the president and his "Assistant" Played the same but in a another way" Chigiri explained.
"What's that suppose to mean?" I asked. Chigiri shrugged as I let out a sigh. "Come on you guys the entrance ceremony is about to start" Bachira exclaimed as we made our way to the school lobby. There were students around the area as Ness, the student council secretary made his way through the stage as he grab a nearby microphone and said "Settle down now students, we don't want our president to be stressed out here" Ness dictated in a soft.
The room went silent as the students flinched as Ness laid an eye on them. "Let give it to our dear president, Micheal Kaiser" Ness exclaimed as he laid an the students. The students flinched and immediately clapped their hands on the arrival of Kaiser.
"Isn't just me or Ness just glared at them?" I asked. "Yeah, it also felt like he's forcing us to clapped for him" Bachira joined in as Kaiser went up to the stage as Ness handed Kaiser the microphone.
"This Annual Gambling event has been going on for a while and I want to thank all the students who participated in the event last year, let's make this another celebration not only for the school but for us and feel free to join and defeat your opponents in the event but I must warn you, Gambling isn't just money, it's just to bet your pointless life as well as your skill and mind. But once again, Good luck in the event. And one more thing, if you lose you have to pay your debt by the END of the event. If you don't, who knows what happen to you or your life just wait and see, once again good luck everyone" Kaiser dictated as the room went silent, the students flinched on what Kaiser said, ness looked at us again and the crowd of students began clapping for Kaiser's COURAGIOUS speech.
As the entrance ceremony ended, we were forced into three groups. Me, Chigiri and Bachira got separate by the group, we wish each other a good luck before participating in the event, as the three large doors creaked opened.
We took a deep breath before going in, "Alright Isagi, it's your time to shine. Just win the games and you'll manage to challenge the student councils" I muttered in my head as the door opened and we entered.
