Chapter 10: Three students takes the lead

Chigiri's POV:

Glad to know how the game works. I wouldn't been eliminated by now, hmm strange the games in this chamber are quite...easy. Just a simple game of poker is alright to me but why? If it's something to do with the president and Isagi, I should be aware then.

But it's kinda of relieving that I passed this round, I hope Isagi and Bachira manage to win as well. "Chigiri!" Bachira excitely shouted my name from afar distance. 

"Hey Bachira, have you seen Isagi somewhere?" I asked him, "Isagi? No, I haven't seen him in fact I haven't seen any students from his went outside, this tension is giving a feeling they got eliminate" Bachira shrugged.

"Eliminate...?" I muttered. "The games in this round are quite easy, dont you think?" Bachira questioned me. "Seems like it..." I replied back.

"Is it just me or is it Alexis-San seemed to be cold yet put-up-a-fake-smile towards Isagi, well you know what I mean" Bachira tried to explained.

"Now I've think about it, Ness have been loyal to Kaiser, seeing oher students talked to him or Kaiser having an interest in them really knocks him off, is that the reason why he gave us easy game than he is? He's in charge of the game no?" I asked him.

"Mhm, your explaination seemed to be a little bit accurate though" Bachira agreed to me, when all of the sudden, all students including Isagi walked out of the chamber.

To everyone's disbelief, they've survive! Not a single elimination has happen. Isagi seemed to be confident as a devilish smirk draw upon his face. This feeling gave shivers down to my spine even more. Bachira seemed to be relieve that Isagi survived just like the three of us. 

After school, the councils announce that once every week they will hold a event for us just like what happened earlier. To top all of that, the councils announces that they would hold a event for us to spectate their match against each other. Kaiser, on the other hand along with the the other councils were confident and seemed cocky about it. 

Our eyes shifted towards them as the student's eyes were focus on the announcement. "Narcissist.." We cursed under our breath. We knew that dealing gamblers like them is not easy as they say especially when it comes to Kaiser.

Kaiser has his "ways" to win this game, but rumored say that whenever someone wants to destroy the councils along with Kaiser, one word from Kaiser will immediately make the student lose or surrender the match. 

Either way, we are not here to destroy them. We are here to prove ourselves that we are worthy...or so I thought it would be. After the announcement has ended, Sar Itoshi went to us and said "Isagi Yoichi, Kaiser wish to speak with you..." He said before leaving with his little brother. 

Isagi seemed to be frustrated as he said "Ugh what the hell does he want now?!" He exclaimed, I could feel Ness's eyes drift to Isagi as he kept his guard up. "Say~ Are you interested in joining the council Yoichi?" A hand smoothly held his chin up from behind.

"Wait wha- Kaiser??" Bachira was surprise, he then gave a glare signaling us to leave them both alone. We did what he said without hesitation, like I said one word from him is done for us.

End of POV:

It was now Kaiser and Isagi alone in the room now, Isagi glared at him before slapping his hand away from his. "What do you say Yoichi? Do you comply?~" He asked him, "heh, as if I would take such offer coming someone like you" Isagi smirked annoyingly, "My oh my, you really love making someone lose their patience do you Yoichi?" Kaiser smirked.

"Imagine if you join the council Yoichi, you would receive tons of admiration and Respect! Look at those who's above you, they're nothing but pawns under the king's head! We'd be a perfect partner, just you and me! With your incredible analyzation and my unstoppable strategies, we'd be a strong pair together! What do you say? just say you give up and give yourself into me" Kaiser leaned over, pushing his body closer to his.
