Candy Fail

The next day, Sonic was picking up some chili dogs for him and T.K. 'Who was getting a little better'. Though he walked passed Knuckles unnoticed. Knuckles entered into a candy store and bought a box of heart-shaped chocolates with strawberry crème inside. Knuckles said to himself as he paid for the box of candy, "Sonic is going to love this. One bite of one of these and he'll be loving me again." He imagined how impressed Sonic would be.

Knuckles 'as a sea captain once again' looks at the blue hedgehog 'dressed as a lovely goddess with open toe sandals' walk to him as the wind slowly goes through his dreadlocks. Sonic looks at him before he said, "Oh captain. Why are you seeing me? I'm nothing to you." Knuckles walked to him as he said in a smooth tone, "Nothing to me? Nonsense my blue goddess. Your everything to me than any woman would be. I'm maybe strong and smart brain-wise but I know it will never mean I won't know who I'm choosing." Sonic looked away and said in a typical shy girl style way, "I'm just a sidekick to you. I can't do anything right for you. No matter what I do I'll always make a mere fool of myself." Sonic sighed sadly as Knuckles gave him the box of chocolates, "Don't even say that. I'm the one 'who shoulda paid attention to three of my lovely friends'. Out of all my friends. You are the most lovely." Sonic blushed as he giggled like a high school girl. Sonic then asked as he blushed, "Those for me?" Knuckles asked in a smooth tone, "Any other lovelies I'm talking too?" Sonic smiled and blushed as he said, "No.." Knuckles then asked as he looked into his sparkling green emerald eyes, "Sonic I know my childish destruction had broken your heart but I'm willing to fix it with a drop of love. Will you give me your forgiveness and let me in your delicate and fragile heart?" Sonic giggled and said, "Of course my dear." Sonic took a bite of a chocolate heart and took his hand.

Knuckles sighed lovingly while hugging the box of candy. Before he can daydream more, he sees Sonic 'moody since day 1'. With no time to waste, Knuckles walked to him and said, "Wait! Sonic!" The blue hedgehog didn't haft to turn around to see what or who it is as he stopped. Sonic then mumbled, "What now?" Knuckles caught up with him and said, "Sonic? I got you something.." Sonic with a cold expression, looked at him. Knuckles gave Sonic the box of candy. Sonic flatly asked, "A box of candy?" Knuckles replied to him, "Your welcome. So you want to hang out tonight?" Sonic rudely said, "Knuckles look I am not in..." Knuckles interrupted optimistically, "...Okay it settled. Pick you up at 5:15." Knuckles runs off as Sonic flatly looked at him. He rolled his eyes and looked into the box. Sonic sighed stressfully and said flatly, "Ugh. This is disgusting. Milk chocolates with strawberry creme inside? Ugh! I prefer dark chocolate with raspberry creme." Sonic wanted to throw this away but that's when Staci walked passed him, she let out a 'huh' as she sees Sonic with the box candy and asked, "Are you going to eat those?" Sonic replied immediately, "No." Staci then said, "Oh well Elsie loves chocolate with strawberry creme. It's been our favorite candy since we were kids." Sonic looked at it and said as he gives it to her, "Here you can have it. I'm not interested in it." Staci replied, "Thanks Sonic. Me and Elsie are gonna enjoy these candies again just like when we were kids." With that said, she runs off as Staci shouted, "ELSIE! TIME FOR SOME CANDY!" Sonic sighed deeply and said, "Good to know she likes it. Now then time to meet up with Barker and take these Chilidogs so me and T.K. can have lunch." He then walks off as he sighed deeply and mumbled, "Idiot pinhead."
