Barker's deal

The more cold the Prince had became the more people would be enslaved in shame. Though the prince uses no hesitation to make deals with other rulers and merchants.

Later that night, Barker and his stunt bears were strangely invited to dinner with Sonic and T.K. Though Barker himself was surprised that Sonic had invited him and his stunt bears.

Though they met up at the Wendi-good entertainment buffet (a restaurant with a great buffet, good food, lovely black and white decor and some good entertainment with classy dressed waiters and waitresses).

Barker asked, "Why did Sonic want us to meet him at this?" The stunt bears shrugged. That's when Barker sees the two Hedgehog brothers.

Barker whispered, "It's best if you guys stay here. I want to see what Sonic wants to talk to me about. I haft to admit his black clothes and dull personality is a real change. Must be joining one of those fancy goth groups."

Thats when Barker walked to them and said, "You got a lot of guys to contact me Sonic."

The blue hedgehog replied maturely, "I thank you for coming Mr. Barker. I know my 'sudden' change of behavior has been a shock to you and everyone else lately and basically I don't care."

Barker says down as he asked,  "So Why did you drag me here?"

Sonic didn't say anything before he said, "Before we get to the topic of 'why I called you here' how about I order you a drink before we get our dinner? But I don't got all night, I gotta get home with my brother here."

Barker was weirded out before he said, "Okay..?"

Sonic ordered a few drinks for him, Barker, and T.K. as they went to the buffet to get their food.

Once they got back to the table, Barker asked, "Look I thank you for inviting me to dinner and all but you still haven't tell me why you called me here? So why am I?"

Sonic answered him, "I have a deal for you if you're okay with it."

Barker rubbed his chin and asked, "What kind of deal?"

Thats when Sonic answered, "To get rid of Eggman once and for all."

Barker was surprised before Sonic continued, "Also I feel real bad for blowing your 'haunted' lair scheme. Knowing that day was extra bad for you, I thought you be interested in turning it into a haunted attraction with new and improved special effects."

Barker 'quickly became interested in this' said to him, "Really? Interesting."

He then asked, "What's in this deal for you?"

Sonic replied, "Nothing much, just a little extra help to kill Eggman. Can I count on your stunt bears to help me out as well?"

Barker replied as he nodded, "Uhh sure."

Sonic then explained, "You see Mr. Barker, I am getting real tired of Eggman's idiotic schemes. I'm also tired of how annoying and stupid he is. He is nothing but a mere joke. I regret not letting his stupid Cowbot destroy him. I need a plan to destroy Eggman forever. I need the help of my brothers, and your stunt bears."

Barker was amazed by his deal before he said just after taking a deep breath, "Look it's interesting I give you that. But you are aware that if Eggman is done for good, you and your friends won't be able to fight him again, regardless."

Sonic replied to him, "I understand completely. Besides this battle has to end, I don't have much time."

Barker asked with a raised brow, "What on earth makes you say that?"

Sonic answered him, "Me and my brother haft to go back to Cristal Noir Village. I doubt we be coming back."

Barker 'in surprise' asked, "Your from Cristal Noir? I thought that was just a rumor."

Sonic nodded and said maturely, "No rumor at all. So we gotta deal?"

Barker hesitated before he said, "Sonic T. Hedgehog? You got yourself deal. Plus I haft to admit you drive a hard bargain."

Thats when Barker asked, "So how in the world...?"

He trailed off as T.K. places a piece of paper 'which is a deal that once Eggman is dead' the lair is his'.

Sonic then said to him, "It's gonna be okay. It's a secret. Once Eggman is gone, the lair is yours, no questions asked."

Barker signed the deal as he said, "Anyways thanks for dinner and the deal. But if you don't mind me asking one more question.."

Sonic asked, "What would that be..?"

Thats when Barker asked in curiously, "Why must you go back to Cristal Noir Village so soon?"

Sonic answered, "My brothers. We need to be back just so Father wouldn't be mad at me anymore."

Barker raised a brow and asked, "What makes you think he is?"

Sonic then said to him, "It's because he hasn't shown up at all. Not just at events but every day I spend with my family."

For once T.W. Barker felt sympathy for the hedgehog and said, "Sonic there's no way he could be mad at you. I have a son myself at home and I'm never mad at him. He does what's right yet he scams villains for fun. No matter what he does I'm proud of him. I'm sure your father is proud of you. There maybe more than you and your brothers think."

Sonic was silent for the rest of the time.

<later after dinner>

Sonic waved goodbye to Barker and the Stunt bears as he and T.K. got back to the shack.

T.K. said to Sonic on the way, "He might be right big brother."

He coughed as Sonic replied to him, "Yeah. There is something fishy about this and we didn't see the signs."

The fish complaint about having some kind of syndrome as T.K. asked as he recalled the time when the four brothers had a family picnic with the aristocrats and saw his mother was sad, "Have you got a feeling that Mother might be hiding something big brother?"

Sonic replied as he recalled his mother's saddened look, "I'm starting to. Maybe in the morning, we should go to the hospital and talk to Seelkadoom. He may know."

T.K. nodded in agreement as they arrived at the beach shack.
