The next morning, Sonic and T.K. went to the hospital and talk to Seelkadoom about what happened.
He explained that there is something wrong and why their father really hasn't shown up.
He told his two brothers, "Well then, guess there's an actual reason Father never showed up. But I knew it wasn't you Sonic cause he may not understand but he never will hate you or me or T.K. or Manic."
T.K. asked, "But why didn't Dad show up?"
Seelkadoom sighed deeply and said, "Mother just dropped by last night and told me something that shocked me."
<flashback>
Seelkadoom saw his mother as he said, "Mother?"
Aleena sees her second child alright and said, as she entered, "Seelkadoom? I need to talk to you where is T.K."
Seelkadoom replied to him, "You mustn't worry Mother. He's staying with Sonic for a while."
Aleena sighed in relief before she said, "Son? There's something I need to tell you."
Seelkadoom asked, "Where's Father?"
Aleena sniffed and said, "Son...I'm afraid he's missing."
Seelkadoom 'in shock' asked, "Mom?! Is this a joke?! What do you mean he's missing?!"
Aleena replied in guilt, "I'm so sorry sweet heart. You see I lied to you three cause I was afraid Sonic would blame himself and everything and..."
Seelkadoom replied calmly, "No need to apologize Mother. Sonic has been feeling bad about leaving Cristal Noir Village. He thought Father was mad at him."
Aleena sighed and said, "Maybe I should tell them."
Seelkadoom looked at Manic and said, "No need. I'll tell them. Thanks for telling me Mother." Aleena sniffed and nodded.
<flashback Ends>
Sonic sighed deeply and asked, "Where did he go?"
Seelkadoom shook his head and said, "I don't know I'm afraid but remember Sonic this was not your fault."
He placed a hand on Sonics shoulder for comfort.
Sonic looked away and asked, "How's Manic?"
Seelkadoom replied to him, "He's okay but he's still in a coma. The doctor said he'll be released in a day or two once he wakes up."
Sonic nodded as he smiled.
T.K. asked, "Once we get rid of that fat headed ugly loser, should we go and look for Father?"
The two brothers replied with a nod, "Yeah. We should." Sonic then said, "I don't plan on being here forever."
