Second Chance

Hadrian felt heartache. He wasn't ready to die yet. That's when the Grim Reaper appear and Hadrian begged for a second chance to make things right with his beloved. Convinced the Grim Reaper said as he looked at the list, "Huh! Your time hasn't come yet. Alright. I'll give thee a second chance Hadrian. But don't leave that boy ever again!" Without hesitation Hadrian was brought to life as he promised to be by Sininen side.

Knuckles lowered his head and said, "No..." a voice said from behind, "It's not your time yet." He looked behind and sees Sonics father. Knuckles asked, "Why are you here?" Jules replied, "I'm dead. But your times not up. Your only in a coma." Knuckles looked down and said, "Sonics probably still hating me." Jules replied to him, "I wouldn't say that. He pretended to accept it just like how you pretended to accepted his confession. He didn't count on you doing what he pleased. Something he wanted." Knuckles gasped and said, "Guess it's karma for me. He's probably happy." Jules then said as he showed him something, "I wouldn't say that. After you were admitted. Sonic blamed himself for what happened. They were going to leave without telling you. But Sonic had second thoughts. He started to think he wanted to stay with you." Knuckles sighed deeply and said, "Oh Sonic...." He sees Sonic crying over Knuckles. The gifts Knuckles gave him were in his hand. Around his neck was a black scarf Knuckles gave him. T.K. 'with him' said to him, "Brother. It's okay. But it's time to leave." Sonic crying and said, "I can't T.K. I don't wanna be without him. I don't know if I should leave or not." T.K. then had a solution. T.K. said to his brother as Sonic turn to him in tears, "Sonic. Look at me. I promise. I'll watch out for him. Someday soon, he'll awake and come back to you. Until then you need to find Father with Seelkadoom and Manic." Sonic hesitated before he nodded. He turn to Knuckles and said, "Knux. I'm so sorry. I was a fool. You proved to me that you really loved me. You really do care." Sonic sniffs and said, "Right now I haft to go back. I haft to find Father. You really were nice to me since we were little kids. I love you too. You were right we really are meant to be." He kissed Knuckles on the forehead. He sees Sonic run away crying. Knuckles was in despair. He fell on the ground and said, "Oh Sonic..." Jules then said, "It is not your time yet guardian." Knuckles turn to him and said, "But I'm dead. Just like Hadrian from the story. There are no happy endings." Jules walk to him slowly and said, "True. But that is not how the story ends. Hadrian gained a second chance after begging death to give him a second chance to live. But on one condition, that he had to be by Sininen's side for eternity. But winning the heart of a broken prince was not easy. Once Hadrian found the perfect gift for Sininen, he went to claim him as his lover. But the prince was not too happy to see him. Knowing it won't be easy, Hadrian convinced him that he was sorry as he showed him the gift. Sininen was touched by Hadrians gift to him." Knuckles looked down and said, "Thoe two really are meant to be. Just like me and Sonic." Jules looked down and said, "I may not approve of you and him dating. But now that I'm gone, I have no choice but to rely on you. Take good care of my third son. He needs you." Knuckles looked at his body before he said as he faced Jules with a serious look, "I love Sonic from the deepest and darkest part of my heart. I will not leave him and I will be by his side. No matter what happens. I swear on my soul that I will be by his side." Knuckles smiled as he vanished and was brought back to life as he gained a second chance to live.
