„CHEONG-SAN, PRINCESS?!"

Yoon Gwi-nam.

Everyone went silent after hearing the yell that seemed to come from downstairs.

Nobody dared to make even the smallest sound. It was like everyone was holding their breath, awaiting something everyone feared.

Su-hyeok and I looked at each other, horrified. The exact same thought was running trough our minds.

This cant be... right? How is he still alive?

I heard metal clanking behind me, seeing Cheong-san standing up. „It's Gwi-nam." The boy said.

„That asshole never dies." Dae-su breathed out.

When I felt Su-hyeok's hand leave mine, my head shot up to him, seeing that he was also back on his feet, lurking through the window.

„What are you doing? Sit down!" I whisper-yelled but the boy next to me just shook his head, continuing to look for Gwi-nam.

„Who's that?" Ha-ri asked, totally clueless. Lucky her.

„Maybe we heard wrong? It's quiet now." Hyo-ryeong tried to calm not only us, but mostly herself down.

„No..." I let out, „It's him."

I made it onto my feet, coming closer to the tarp covered window as all of a sudden the tarp was ripped off, a familiar face right in front of me. I flinched, just to see a smirk appear on Gwi-nam's face.

„Well, oh well. Look who we have here. Hasn't been that long, right princess?"

Without answering I gripped onto the baseball bat under my feet, swinging it into his face.

YAH, Y/N!" I heard Su-hyeok yell behind me.

Before it could even touch his face he pulled me by the back of my shirt, slamming my back against the hard stonewall.

I fell onto the floor, coughing as I barely got air. Gwi-nam jumped over to the platform, now facing the group.

Mi-jin and Su-hyeok were about to pull me back but Gwi-nam pressed his leg against my chest, preventing them from saving me.

I groaned, getting even less air now. Su-hyeok wouldn't waste a second, throwing a punch right into Gwi-nam's face.

Not even an inch before meeting his face, a sharp pain spread through my boyfriend's face, seeing that Gwi-nam bet him to it and got the first punch. Su-hyeok lost his balance, falling onto his knees, as he rolled down the platform.

His hands gripped onto the ground, his own fate literally being in his hands.

„Su-hyeok!" I choked out, using my free hand to help him hold onto the platform.

Mi-jin immediately dropped onto the floor, trying everything in her power to help the guy back up.

I was still hovered under Gwi-nam's grip, using my right hand to push his foot off as my left was still holding onto Su-hyeok's.

„Y/N!" On-jo yelled, „Help her! Please!" my best friend cried out from the back of the group.

„Princess, you know I wouldn't hurt you. Or would I?" Gwi-nam said, whispering the last part before harshly pulling me back to my feet.

Dae-su noticed that Mi-jin was struggling with Su-hyeok, also dropping onto the floor, helping the older girl.

Gwi-nam was holding onto my school uniform, the two of us facing each other.

As long as I'm here, no one can hurt you. (Lee Su-hyeok x Reader)Where stories live. Discover now
