Two months later

"Emergency,Dr. Krishna.One more patient in OT-4."

Krishna rushed to the room with the nurse.She started checking the patient.

On a signal from Krishna, the nurse said, 

"Blood Pressure decreasing.At this rate the patient could the state of coma."

"Look through his medical history. And give him anaesthetic.We will operate in 15 minutes. Attach Blood bag with the IV ."

After 7 hours

The red light obove the room turned off. An exhausted Krishna came out. The family of the patient surrounded her with hopeful eyes. 

"He is out of danger. He will be under observation for few weeks. Then he is good to go. Though I would suggest to keep him from stressing and taking unnecessary load."

Saying this, she went towards her cabin to take much needed rest. She drank her homemade herbal tea and closed her eyes. 

Last two months have been hectic on Krishna. It was as if God wanted her to loose her mind.

A hotel of 15 floors crumbled due to an earthquake in a nearby city. Hundreds of people were injured. She had been called to travel there and help through the surgeries. It took more than a month to see through that.

 And as soon as she returned, her scheduled was changed and she had to be in the hospital for more than 15 hours. She complained to the director for the unfairness but was dismissed saying the shortage of surgeons.

"What an utter bullshit!!!", she thought. 

 The surgeons working in the hospital were deliberately transferred to other branches around the city. 

Apart from this, the flower arrangement business needs to be looked after. She hired few more people to look after it.Though the business was blooming(literally 😂) but the expansion was going out of control. 

She needed time to execute some plans to control it. And that was the whole problem. She did not have time these days. 

She worked in hospital from 7am to 10 pm. She reaches home by eleven. She even hired drivers to take her back and forth so that she could go through some business files in cars. After reaching hime, she spends half and hour with Aryan and Bhavya. Then again she works till 2 pm and the cycle goes on. 

She was not able concentrate on her garden at the back of the house. She was not able to spend some much needed time with kids and her sister-in-law.

Her instincts told her that this pandemonium is somewhere related to the Singhania's. But she wanted to refuse the fact,cause she never wanted to encounter them again. 

The last time she met them at her home, they came with the most absurd demand. 

"Huf!!,I don't want to encounter that psycho family again."

"Doctor…Doctor,two new patients."

Hearing this Krishna immediately woke up from her reverie and stood to walk out of her cabin. 

"The patient is Bhavya Sihag.Age :8 Had been in an car accident with her twin brother. He had been getting operated in the OT-8.Brother got more injuries.He must have shielded his sister.You are needed for assistance in OT-9.The case is handled by Dr. Vishesh Gupta."

Hearing this, Krishna stood shocked. And in front of her was her niece. A tear escaped her eyes as she watched her blood covered figure. 

Her feet rushed outside to OT-8. From the glass she saw, her nephew in much worse state then Bhavya. She could not contain the sob which left her. 

After few minutes, she composed herself and went to Bhavya and assited in everything she could. 

6 excruciating hours and both the operations were successful. Aryan and Bhavya, both were in the influence of anaesthetic. She filled all the forms and paid the bill. 

She informed Rakhi that there was a small accident. Cause she knew her sister-in- law is not ready to hear the truth. 

She sat beside them in ICU and looked at there bandaged body. And at last she let her tears flow. She wanted to know what happened.

What happened that the body of her children were in such state. 

Today as her shift ended, she did not go home.

She sat with them through the night waiting for her stars to wake up and let their aunt be free from the pain she is going through of almost losing them. 

9 a. m. in the morning 

Hearing a soft whimper, Krishna woke up from her slumber which she fell into late at night. She saw Bhavya trying to reach for for her hand. 

"Hi baby. ", Krishna said as a tear of relief fell from her eyes. 

"Hi Krissy Aunty.", Bhavya said with a pained smile. 

Krishna observed and called for Dr.Gupta.He checked Bhavya and cleared her for discharge in 4 days. 

Ten minutes later, Rakhi came with a tear-strickened face. She brought food and change of clothes for Krishna. And then she went and sit beside Bhavya who talked slowly with her. 

Aryan woke up around noon and was looking fine. He was to be discharged in a week or more if needed. He broke his leg. But thankfully, there was no permanent damage. 

Bhavya and Aryan were transferred to a private room. They all chatted for sometime. Then Krishna went to look through the progress of her patients.

In the evening, she joined her family in the room, they all talked and laughed. Krishna was delighted seeing her family together laughing again. A tear slipped her eye but this time, it was of happiness.

"No sir,she was not called in the morning fir her work rather I assigned some other doctor to do that."

"Fine.Keep it that way for this week."

"Ok, sir."

The phone was disconnected. The director looked at the screen and sighed. It was unfair to give so much work alone to her even though she was doctor. But what choice did he have. He was threatened by the most powerful man in the city,RUDRAKSH SINGHANIA. 

At the same time, Krishna received a text on her phone. 

"If next you do not want to cremate our neice and nephew next time,reach this address tomorrow by 10 a.m.
