Eri was screaming as the doctors were trying so hard to get her to eat. "LET ME GO!" eri screams and Kota came and growls "she said back off." Kota says and the doctors sigh and back away. Eri was trembling from how scared she was. Kota looked at her and goes and sits next to her.
"Where did you go?" Eri asks confused, "I got grounded" Kota answered looking at eri's food before handing her some of the food little by little as they talked. "What's school?" Eri asks confused, "it's a really boring place where you go super early in the morning, have to learn a bunch of boring subjects, and be around people you don't like" Kota groans. "Do I have to go to school?" Eri asks tilting her head, "yea but the hero's said you'll be enrolled once you're use to being around others" Kota says and smiles. "Will we be at the same school?" Eri asks, "I'm pretty sure they'll make sure we stick together" Kota hands eri more food.
Eri eats it and looks at Kota. "Hey Kota? What does it mean to be grounded?" Eri asks tilting her head. "Well when you do something you're not supposed to so you get privileges removed...like for awhile I wasn't allowed to come see ya" Kota says and gives eri her drink, she seemed really hesitant to take it. "..." Kota sighs and takes a sip of the drink to show her it was okay. Just like that eri took the drink and drank some without much hesitation. "Hey Kota? When I get out of here where will I go?..." Eri asks, "probably to stay with me for awhile, or at UA" Kota smiles at eri, "you're gonna be safe regardless okay? No matter what happens I won't let anything or anyone hurt you again" Kota reassures eri rubbing her head.
Eri smiles, she seemed so much calmer than she had been. She and Kota continued to speak for a while, Kota noticed the hero's trying to get closer to eri. He really didn't pay them much mind, but once they got too close and scared eri he shot them a glare. "Back. Up." Kota growls, eri held onto his arm clearly scared. "Eri? Why are you so scared of the grownups?" Kota asks confused, "the blood....I...hurt them....I...so much blood..." Eri says trembling and Kota hugs her. "You're scared you'll hurt them again?" Kota asks and eri nods.
"It's okay...I promise you that you won't hurt them...just give them a chance okay? And if you still want them to leave I'll chase them off" Kota smiles, eri was hesitant but nods. "Okay....okay...." Eri nods, she holds onto Kota's hand letting the heroes come closer. Eri squeezes his hand tightly, eventually they got close enough to eri and they gently rub her head. Eri yelps a bit and Kota growls a little. It wasn't until eri eased up a bit that Kota calmed down. "Heya eri..." Deku says smiling, "I'm glad you're feeling better..." Deku says happy that he finally gets to see eri up close. "Why did you come back for me..." Eri asks, "because...we couldn't just leave you with that dangerous man....you didn't deserve anything he was doing to you...." Deku says calmly.
"... what happened to the guy with the glasses?" Eri asks about nighteye. "He's currently getting treatment too..." "Can I see him?...I want to thank him..." "I know eri...but right now he needs rest...but someday we'll go thank him okay?" Deku says, he didn't have the guts to tell eri that nighteye died... neither did Kota.
