Chapter 26

Jaime had called jules into his office early that morning with the intention of introducing her to the new team member, little did both of them know this would be the girl who would derail jules and mattys fairytale like relationship, but hey nothing good last forever right?

Jules opened the door to her bosses office and noticed an unfamiliar figure sitting down in one of the chairs. "Hey jules, I called you in because I wanted to introduce you to your new partner, Jules this is jade, jade this is jules" jaime introduced the two.

The girl turned around and sent Jules a smile, "Hey it's so nice to meet you, I've heard so much about you and can't wait to work together!" jade said, getting up and extending her hand out for jules to shake. "It's nice to meet you too! I'm excited to work together" jules said, and shook her hand.

"Please sit jules, I want to go over a few things since tour starts back up this week" jaime told the girl, and motioned for her to sit down. Taking a seat, the two girls looked at their boss, "So the way this dynamic is going to work is, Jules you will be kind of mentoring Jade on how to handle a tour this size, then about halfway through the tour she will be leaving to be the head of merch for a different band, sound good?" he asked, the two girls smiled and nodded their heads.

"Yeah sounds great! It'll be nice to have help!" jules responded, "Great, well I let you two get back to your day but feel free to call or text me if you have any questions!" jaime said, dismissing the girls.

They bid their boss a quick goodbye, and made their way to the lobby. "Hey jules wait up" jade called out, walking quicker in order to catch up with her. Julie turned around, "Hey whats up?" she said, plastering a fake smile on her face, jules didn't have anything against the girl, she was just tired since matty had kept her up all last night, the energy that man has amazed her sometimes.

" I just wanted to say I'm really excited to work with you and the band! Also wanted to say I think you and matty are adorable!" jade said. "Aw thank you! I'm excited to work with you too! I'm so sorry to cut the conversation short but I have to head home, I have a very clingy boyfriend texting me" jules chuckled, and as if on cue her phone rang and a picture of matty popped up. "Speaking of the devil" she giggled and pressed decline, silently telling herself to call him back once she was done with the conversation.

We'll have to grab a cup of coffee before tour, so we can get to know eachother more!" jules said, jade nodded her head in response "Yeah I'd love to, I'll let you get back home, but it was nice meeting you" jade said, jules nodded her head and responded with "yes! You as well".

The pair then split off, and jules quickly called matty back "hey babe sorry I was talking with the new merch girl whos joining us on this tour" jules said, as she got into a taxi. "And here I was thinking you were ignoring me" matty commented, laughing softly on the other line, "I would never, you're pretty hard to ignore Mr.Healy, I'm heading to your place right now I should be there in 10". "I'll be waiting" he responded back in a sultry tone, "I'm in for a long night again arent i?" she giggled, "Maybe, you'll just have to find out" he responded back in the same tone. "I'll see you soon darling, I love you" he said, "i love you too" jules responded before hanging up the phone.

When she arrived at mattys house, she found it to be uncharacteristically quiet. "Matty? Babe where are you" she called out, as she put her stuff down and made her way up the stairs "Matty?" she called out again, "In here darling" he called out from the bathroom. She made her way to the closed door, "I'm just having a bath, care to join" he called out from inside.

She quickly opened up the door, revealing matty in the tub, his lower half hidden by layer of bubbles, there were also various candles lit around the bathroom, and two glasses of wine sat on the bench next to the tub. "Do you like it?" matty asked, jules nodded her head, the smile never leaving her face "I love it matty, you sure are the romantic are you" she chuckled, "Of course, now come on it's getting cold I need you to heat it up" he smirked.

Jules giggled, and quickly removed her clothes and slowly got into the tub, trying her best to not splash water on the floor. She slowly lowered herself down into the tub, matty extended his arms out, signaling for her to come into them. She carefully made her way to him and leaned back onto his bare chest. "I thought you could use a bath after last night" matty said, "You act like we went at it for hours healy" she joked " I mean we kind of did" he responded back, "True, well now I know what gets you handsy" she giggled. "That you do, now tell me about you day" he asked, as he placed gentle kisses on her shoulder and neck.

"It was good, got to meet the new girl, shes nice" jules responded back, leaning more into him to give him better access. "Thats good, now did I tell you how stunning I think you are" he said, continuing his gentle assault on her neck. Jules giggled softly " did I ever tell you how much I love you" she responded back, she reluctantly lifted her head off his chest and turned to face him, "I love you" she said bringing her hand to cup his cheek and pull him into a kiss.

In that moment the two lovers thought nothing could break this bond they had, they were completely and utterly in love with eachother, but the thing about love is its never easy.
