Chapter 19

The next day...

"Matty are you ready, Charli's flight just got in," George said, as he knocked on the bathroom door. Matty opened the door quickly, and said "Yeah, sorry I was just talking to Jules, she has got no idea Charli's going to be here". George nodded his head and the two quickly made their way down to the car. "You excited to have her join us on tour?" Matty asked his best friend, as the two made their way to the airport. "Yeah, I've missed her so much," George said,  "it's nice to have her with us, hopefully, you won't be so needy anymore" Matty teased, " fuck off Healy," he said, chuckling slightly.

"So you and Jules seem to be getting pretty serious", "Yeah, I don't think I've felt this way before, I can't wait to finally tell her I love her" Matty responded, the smile never leaving his face as he thought of her. "That's good mate, I'm glad, just don't fuck it you muppet," George said, "I won't and I think you just finished bridge for me for the song we're working on" Matty chuckled, quickly taking note of what George said. "It's what I do, I'm pretty genius Healy" the drummer chuckled, Matty just rolled his eyes and laughed

Eventually, the two made it to the airport, George quickly parked the car and the two made their way to baggage claim. "Ok, she says she's at baggage claim 2," George said, walking quickly to the baggage area, frantically searching for his girlfriend. Eventually, he spotted her, quickly running up behind her and putting his arms around her waist twirling her around. "I missed you, baby," George said to his girlfriend, as he put her back down. Charli smiled and pulled the boy into a kiss, "I missed you to babe".

Unfortunately, the cute moment was broken up by none other than matty healy, "Hey Charli, it's good to see you again" Matty said, pulling her into a hug. "It's good to see you too, I'm excited to meet this girlfriend of yours, she and I are gonna fucking party," she said "Now lets go surprise her, lead the way boys", and with that the trio made their way back to the car and back to the hotel.

Once they arrived, George and Charli went back to their room, just so she could put her stuff down and have a minute to get settled. Matty headed back to his and Jules's room. When he opened the door, he found his girlfriend sitting by the desk furiously typing something out on her computer, she looked stressed. Matty made his way over to her, "Baby what's wrong?" he asked, Jules let out a shaky sigh "Just there's so much I have to do in so little time, and we don't have one of the t-shirts we need, the posters aren't correct and I have to deal with this all while the volunteers set up everything and I'm supposed to be there to help them but Jaime says I need to focus on this stuff and it-its a lot" Jules said, tears starting to form in her eyes. "Oh baby come here," Matty said, quickly pulling her into a hug "I'm sorry, that sounds like so much I'm sorry you have to deal with that Jules" He pulled her closer. "It's ok, I just want to relax a bit before we have to go to the venue" she responded. "Well I have a little surprise that may cheer you up," he said, a grin forming on his face, and as if on cue there was a knock on the door, "Why don't you go answer it". Jules looked at her boyfriend, confused at what he was hinting at, but excited to see who was at the door.

Jules slowly turned the handle on the door and opened it, revealing none other than Charli xcx, "Holy shit" Jules said in shock. "Holy shit Holy shit I can't believe you're standing in front of me right now," Jules said, still not believing that Charli was in front of her, "Hey Jules! It's nice to meet you," Charli said, giggling at the girls' reaction. "It's nice to meet you too, I can't believe this," Julie said, "could I give you a hug?". Charli nodded her head and pulled the girl into a hug, "I'm so starstruck right now" Jules mumbled as the two pulled away from the hug, "You flatter me darling. It's nice to finally meet you, George tells me that matty won't stop talking about you, and I see why you're literally so gorgeous" Charli said, Jules blushed " aw thank you, you're literally stunning, this made my day".
