{Lenny's POV}

I've been watching John over the past week on our drive down to Melbourne, especially while he's talking to this chick named Jess. He seems to become really happy and like, weird when he's talking about her. I hope he's not in love, because GOD, that will be a disaster waiting to happen.

{John's POV}

"Yes! We're finally here!!!" I cheered with my brother as we crossed the Boltie Bridge. "I haven't been here in ages, what was it? 1 year ago?" Lenny asked me. I just can't wait to meet Jess, it's been so long like 2 months just to sort when I would be coming down.

We parked in a caravan park and set the van up, I sent Jess a message saying that we had arrived in Melbourne.

Hey Jess, Lenny and I have arrived in Melbourne and I'm just letting you know that I got here safely so that I can tell you that Carlton gardens fountain meet-up is a go!

And with that I finished unpacking and waiting for Jess to respond.

"Bro, Jess hasn't replied in ages, she's not like that, she normally replies in a matter of minutes, what do I do?"

{Jess' POV}

I was just chilling watching my fav movie Pitch Perfect when I got a message from John:

Hey Jess, Lenny and I have arrived in Melbourne and I'm just letting you know that I got here safely so that I can tell you that Carlton gardens fountain meet-up is a go!

God, What do I do? Amy wasn't here to help me respond, so after a long time of thinking, I finally replied.

To John

Hey John, Sorry I didn't reply so quickly, Mum wanted Amy and I to have a no - Phone weekend, I know, its stupid. I can't wait to see you tomorrow. I'll bring Amy along with me too.

I lied, I really wasn't having a no-phone weekend. I didn't have an excuse so I just clicked send and waited. He replied within 2 minutes and we kept talking about tomorrow and us finally meeting each other.
