Chapter 2

{Amy's POV}

When we arrived at school, Jess and I split up.

I went to see my best friend Casey by the front gate while Jess met up with her bestie Tilly and her mates. (Tilly was a bit of a big deal at our school: well known, but not a bitchy-popular-girl) We usually stayed together, we were the kind of twins that were always attached to each other's hips, but before school was always an exception. I mean, we needed some breaks!

"Haaaaaay babe!" Case greeted me as I approached. I said hi back and before long we were discussing hot celebrities from the media recently (I kept talking about Lenny Pearce, but Casey just ignored me and went on about some random who had apparently just become a big deal on Instagram overnight. Like, I don't care about some Doucheface McGorgeous or whatever, I care about really hot guys. Namely: Justice Crew). I looked over at where Jess was, about a hundred metres away, nearly being swallowed by Tilly's friends. I smiled and once again rolled my eyes at Casey's proclamations of "hottest guys ever!".

During homeroom, Jess was giving me an excited look, but she was sitting on the other side of the room (goddamn assigned seats) and the teacher was taking the roll, so I couldn't speak. After attendance, my twin was signalling for us to talk outside at the lockers, to speak in private.

"Have you seen John Pearce's twitter in the last ten minutes?!!!!!!!!" she whispered excitedly. "Uhh... no." I replied. "Why?"

"BECAUSE HE JUST DUMPED HALEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she all but screamed, and I got a little excited too. All JCeazers had hated John's (ex)girlfriend because she despised his work, his fans, his friends, everything that made him a successful, social person. For months now he had been answering fans' angry DMs about her, saying that he "wanted to end it but didn't know how", so this was definitely something to celebrate.
