{John's POV}

ROAD TRIP!!

Jess and I had been talking for a while now and we decided that Lenny and I would be traveling down to Melbourne in 1 week. "Hey, bro, I was thinking, why don't we get dad's old Kombi and drive down to Melbourne. I could take some nice Melb shots for a change with that new camera I got."

"Dude, that sounds great, I'll ask Dad if we can borrow the van and if he says no, well do the whole innocent twin thing we used to do when we were little... or just steal it." I replied. The more I thought about driving from Sydney to Melbourne, the more real it came about me meeting this girl named Jess.

We'd packed the van and were about to head off for our trip to Melbourne when Mum called us.

"Boys, I'm very disappointed in both of you." I didn't even get to saw hello to her before she started talking at me in a angry voice. "John, am I on speaker? Put me on speaker, Why on earth would you want to go down to Melbourne to meet some silly girl who's pretending to be your girlfriend? She could be some killer on the loose or something!"

After explaining to mum about everything that's going to happen, we promised that we would call every night and when we get there to Melbourne. Now let's hit the road. With me driving and Lenny on his phone, we left Sydney and got onto the freeway.

As we passed the last sign saying "You are now leaving Sydney, come back soon!", Len opened his window, sat in the spot where the window was and threw his arms up in the air.

"Wooooooohoooooooooooooooo!" he cried and I grinned at him while the wind tousled his hair as I drove at 110 down the freeway with only a few cars around.

Melbourne, here we come!!
