Amy's POV

From Lenny

Hi Amy. Just wanted to remind you that John and I are going home in a couple of days for filming our next video. I was just wondering if the four of us wanted to go out for dinner on Saturday? I know a place, and Johns all good so could you ask Jess for me? I suppose you could say it would be a double date ;) Anyway, let me know. Lenny xx

Saturday

Jess and I were so ready for this dinner with the twins. We both know that it isn't a date but that is what we're calling it because they are taking us to some really fancy restaurant in the heart of Melbourne, just how we like it.

The boys picked uѕ up and Jess was stressing like a freak. "Ams, what happens if the boys don't see us the way we see them, or they just want to be "Friends"?" My frantic sister said while running around the house trying to find her other shoe.

The boys were taking us on a "date" well, that's what's what we're calling it. Lenny has already told me the reason about this, but I don't want to break Jess' heart if I tell her the truth about why we are going out. I know that she is really into John and I know he feels the same way, I just don't think they are the right ones for each other.

Hours later!!!!

Jess' POV

"Look girls, we hate to say this, but this thing we've got going on here? It's not going to work if we try to continue the way we're going. I mean, Len and I have to go back to Sydney, we have our lives and business there. Life isn't like in the storybooks. You're eight years younger than us, and still in school. I think it would just be best if we stayed friends."

My heart sank. How could he do this to me?

"But don't worry, we aren't putting you to lovely ladies into the friend zone, how could we, it's just for the best us, and hopefully you too." Len said with a smile to cheer me up. I wasn't taking this well at all, and with that, I ran to the bathroom with John calling my name.

I quickly locked myself in a cubicle and just started crying, I didn't care who could hear me and I didn't really care what I looked like, all I was trying to do was process what I had just been told. I was halfway through my thoughts when I herd someone barge into the toilets and to hear John calling out for me, "Jess, are you in here?" I sat up from the toilet to unlock the door to let John in. It was a little bit squishy but we managed. "Jess, look at me," John said with guilt in his eyes. I know that he was regretting what he said, but he said it and nothing can change it. "I'm really sorry about what I said, I know that I have to go back to Sydney, and you're in school and live here in Melbourne, and I'm eight years older. Len and I have thought long and hard about this, and it's not easy for us too. It's just for the best of us." After John had said that, I hugged him so tight that it was hard for him to breathe. God I love the smell of him.

He pulled back and looked at me. "Hey, just because we're leaving doesn't mean we won't still be friends or never see each other again. In fact, we've got a couple more music videos to film in a few months, maybe we can see if you guys can feature? We'll talk closer to the time, yeah? Anyway, I guess what I'm saying is that this doesn't mean goodbye forever. If you're looking for free JC tickets, just give me a call." He winked and I blushed.

We walked back out to the table, and finished dessert with happy storytelling and cheery laughter. The twins revealed that they were actually leaving tonight, they were all packed up and wanted Amy and I to see them off.

We walked out to the carpark together, Amy and I kind of shivering against the cold. The twins got into the van, Len in the driver's seat and John in the passenger's. John rolled down the window to speak to me.

"I suppose it's for the best," he said, looking up to the stars above. "I always felt like a total perv falling in love with you. " He rolled up the window and the van drove away, leaving both my sister and I completely speechless.

THE END
