I woke up to many faces. Reid, JJ, Hotch, Rossi,and Morgan were sitting around the room. JJ was eating chocolate covered raisins in the chair beside me.

"I smell Raisinets."I said as I adjusted my position in the hospital bed.

"Avery."JJ said.

"Are there anymore Raisinets?" I asked she laughed and handed me the bag.

"You're no supposed to be eating." said a nurse who was changing my I.V. water. I handed the bag back to JJ.

"Save them for later." I loudly whispered. Everyone in the room chuckled.

"How are you feeling?" Morgan asked as he walked toward me and away from the window.

"Better. What happened?" I asked.

"Your left lung had a small tear in it so we had to repair it immediately." said the nurse.

"Oh...Just to be nosy, when am I cleared to leave?"I asked.

"Two weeks from now." said the nurse.

"UGH!"I said.

"It won't be that bad, Avery."Rossi said.

"Nurse can I have a minute alone with these guys?Please?"I asked.

"Sure." she said then she left the room.

"Yes it will be that bad. I'll be here without you guys. I know I've only known you for a few weeks, but you feel like family already. I wish I could get out of here now so I can be with my family." I said.

"Avery. We may be family but we still have to save other people too."Hotch said.

"I want to help with anything I can." I said.

"Hotch can I talk to you out in the hall?" Morgan asked.

"Sure."Hotch replied.

_________________MORGAN'S POINT OF VIEW_________________

"Hotch can I take leave of absence. Just until Avery's healed." I said.

"Morgan you know I can't allow that." He said.

"Hotch."

"If you want to stay with Avery then you're going to have to use your vacation days.""Good. Done deal." I said.

"Look after her. We have to leave for Quantico in two hours."Hotch said.

"I will." we walked back into the hospital room.

"JJ are you clear to fly?" Hotch asked.

"No sir. Not for another week." she replied.

"Whoever's fit to travel, pack your bags. Wheels up in two hours." Hotch said. Rossi, Reid, and Hotch left the hospital. JJ was holding Avery's hand.

"Do you guys need anything? I'm going to the grocery store." I said.

"There is a book that I'd like to read."

"What book?"

" 'Seventh Day Killer' by Barbara Stacy. She wrote about her kidnapping experience."

"Sure. I'll be back." I said then I left the room.

Avery and I were watching America's Funniest Home Videos when I got a VideoChat call on my phone from Garcia.

{JJ! Is Avery ok?!} Garcia asked.

"I'm fine Garcia." Avery said.

{Thank God. How are you feeling?} Garcia asked.

"You got shot too didn't you?" Avery said.

{Yeah but I got shot once, not twice. What happened to Cruise?}Garcia asked.

"Morgan killed him." I answered.

{Oh. Avery, when do you leave?}Garcia asked.

"Two weeks from now." she replied.

{I'm sorry for that.}Garcia said.

"Don't worry about it." Avery said.

"Hey I'm going get some food." I said as I stood up and grabbed my crutches.

"Can you ask the nurse if I can eat something?" Avery asked.

"Yeah. Garcia I'm gonna take you with me." I said.

{Ok.} she replied. I walked into the hallway and to the nurse's station.

"Can the patient in room 3 have something to eat?" I asked.

"Yes I'll be back." said a nurse before she walked to a storage room.{JJ. How's Morgan?}Garcia asked.

"Honestly? I was surprised that he did tear Cruise apart." I said.

{Oh God...Do you know why he has stopped calling me BabyGirl?}

"Yeah."

"He's in love with Avery."
