I was on the other side of the island, with the chiefess and another villager. We made my hut over here because I wanted to be far away from Bakugo as possible. I don't want to get in the way of him becoming No. 1 because that meant I didn't have to become No. 1. Plus I have to focus on myself to become great with my quirk, with no problems. The chiefess wanted to have another go with the ritual but she also wanted to see what I can do in fighting wise. Hence she brought a villager with her. Before I moved over to this side of the island, I request a walkie just for me and Ida, I didn't want to talk to anyone else if I need anything. Ida didn't mind but he requested that I'd have Midoriya's walkie channel just in case.

I stood in the middle of a fire circle that I created. I had my hair into a high ponytail because I've been sweating lately, I knew why I just hated having to stop every 5 minutes to attempt to cool down. Today I needed to turn the fire into lava, so this was going to take alot of practice. I closed my eyes and held my hands out as if I was holding something out. I focused hard on the little flame inside me, my center, my core. It was there, I felt it and now I needed to control it. My hair broke the hair tie as it started to float, turning into flames. I opened my eyes, everything in thermal view, which I knew my eyes were glowing. I looked down at the fire around, keeping my hands out and slowly clenching them. The flames started to move around frantically, but slowly dying down and turning into lava. However my arm started to burn, which I tried to ignore but it started to hurt more to where I stopped. Everything going to normal and the fire vanishing.

"I'm sorry, I can't do it still." I spoke but then heard the chiefess laughing.

"You keep doubting yourself dear. Walk with me" She spoke as she began to walk so I followed her.

It was a quiet walk, as I tried to calm down the heat of my body but it seemed to get hotter as we got closer to the woods. However the chiefess stopped and sat down on a stump, sighing heavily. I sat down as well and hugged my knees to my chest. My mind was on alot of things, especially how Bakugo was doing. He must be really pissed off that I wasn't around or was probably happy that I wasn't around. But it really felt different without him around, I wish he would just talk to me about his focus on No. 1.

"You kept doubting yourself about your quirk, young one." The Chiefess spoke as I sighed heavily.

"I am not, I just can't do it without hurting myself and I can't do that to myself." I shook my head, looking down at the ground.

"I think something or someone is keeping you from doing it." She explained as I sighed heavily.

"How is he? Has he been rude to you or the villagers?" I asked, letting go of my knees and played with the sand.

"He is quiet, so maybe he is thinking about you. Maybe you should talk to him, he cares about you." The chiefess tried to explained but I just shook my head again at that last part.

"You don't understand him. He doesn't care about me, he never did or does. He's just being himself, which is this ticking time bomb. I even heard him, he doesn't like me." I explained as I heard the Chiefess chuckle at my words.

"I think you both need each other. But don't listen to me, I'm just the village crazy lady" The chiefess joked as I couldn't help but to laugh at the last of her words.

"You aren't crazy, you just been around more than others." I spoke before she placed her hand on my cheek.

"I know you, I knew your mother and I know when I am talking to her. It's time to find yourself here. Find the true center of yourself, okay? We will try again tomorrow." The chiefess said quietly as I stared at her.

I watched the Chiefess walk away with the villager and I just sat there. I hated how much I resembled to my mother, why wouldn't I? I'm her fucking off-spring. I got up from sitting down and started walking to my hut. I figured I should check in with Midoriya and see how everyone is doing, mostly to see if he knew how Bakugo was doing. I remembered that I wanted to ask Momo if she can make a snorkel mask for me so I can explore. I'll just go to the boat, instead of using the walkie, it be much easier. I walked into my hut, changing into my bathing suit and grabbing a hair tie, tying my hair back into a bun. I just hope Bakugo wasn't on the boat.
