November 26 (happy thanksgiving)

Dear Joey,

I remember what we planned for Thankgiving. We were sitting on the couch, cuddling, watching a movie when we started talking about Holidays.

I said how this year I wasn't going back home for Thanksgiving, and you mentioned that your sister, little brother, and mom wanted to come for Thanksgiving.

I was way too excited to meet your family. Especially your little brother.

I asked what types of food you made and had when you were younger. We both said the same basic stuff. Our conversation turned into childhood talk and to us falling asleep in each other's arms.

Well, it's Thanksgiving. Guess where I am? Home- but with who? Myself.

All my friends had plans or went home. I'm here all by myself, made myself a grilled piece of chicken, bought some microwaveable mashed potatoes, and cooked some canned corn. Funnn time.

In other news, I made a friend. Here name is Jackie, and she's my age. She actually went to my High School. She now is a mom and trying to open a bakery.

We got connected through Facebook, I know crazy. She found me and sent me a message. She was so shocked that I'm an "internet celeb".

We made plans to get coffee and we talked about heart breaks at one point.

Her story is close to ours, sort of.

Basically, she got pregnant in college with her boyfriend Brad. One day she went to visit Brad, about an hour away from her college, where she walked in on him cheating.

He began to write her emails apologizing. Jackie was a complete mess. She realized she would have to have this baby on her own. At one point she had finally agreed to see Brad.

They got back together. She gave him a second chance. They had there baby (her name is Delilah, and she is two years old and adorable). But just as Brad was going to propose, he had to life back home to care for his mother who had fallen ill.

She said he is coming back after Christmas.

He hasn't proposed, but they both know they will get married. They're practically engaged.

I wanted to tell you because everyone deserves a second chance. I really believe I should get a second chance too.

We could be happy again.

From,

Your old cuddle bug Connor
