Relationship Ruined //Joey and Connor

Just Talking (memory #2)

It's now been three weeks since, almost a month, and we've be going on dates, hanging out, adventuring and taking California by storm. Now things are getting serious.

We decided that tonight we are going to have a night inside. We're going to order food, eat and watch movies, talk and just hang out. Have a peaceful night.

Joeyyy: What time will you be over?

Me: um.. 6? Is that good?

Joeyyy: Yes!😝 I want to order food at the right time so it's here just as you come

Me: Aww, so sweet😘

Joeyyy: I know I'm great💁

He is so good to me, I thought. I don't ever want to lose him.

I arrived at Joeys house just as the pizza guy was delivering the food. I didn't want to get out until the man left because gross, I don't want to be social.

Once the guy drove away, I got out my car and let myself into Joey's house.

"Ah! Excuse me? Don't you ever hear of knocking? Whaaaattt?!" He tried to impersonate Miranda Sings when he said 'what'. It always makes me laugh when he does it.

"Get out," I sassed back in the Miranda voice.

We both laughed and I went over to Joey to greet him with a hug.

"I'm happy we get to hang out tonight and just... Have our own time," I said to him as he got the pizza boxes lined up on the counter.

"Me too. Things have been, ugh, crazy. I wanted to have a peaceful night."

I nodded, and then got distracted when I saw Wolf prance into the kitchen.

"WOLF! Yay!!" I smiled and kneeled down to rub his face.

"He has missed you," Joey laughed.

After playing with Wolf, he handed me a plate and I walked over to the pizza. He got plain, pepperoni and pineapple, and then veggie delight. Not only pizza, but he got mozzarella sticks and breadsticks.

"I'm going to gain ten pounds!" I said all dramatically.

"Oh please! You can eat like crazy and won't gain one bit. Besides, I got this from the vegan pizzeria. It's organic and not real," Joey teased.

"Trueeee."

I got a slice of veggie delight pizza, and two mozzarella sticks. Joey grabbed pepperoni (or veggeroni and pineapple, and one veggie, and a breadstick.

I followed him into the living room area, where he had the projector down and Netflix ready.

"Let's watch Camp Takota!" Joey suggested as we sat down.

"Oh yeah. I love that movie I watched it like three million times!"

He got the remote and got Camp Takota started.

After more pizza, Camp Takota and then Shane's movie Not Cool, and an episode of The Office, we decided to have a conversation and just talk.

"So... I wanted to talk about something- important? I guess..." Joey crossed his legs onto the couch.

"Sure.. Go ahead."

"Well, we've been going out for a while and, I wanted to know what you thought about.. Like our.. Future? Like are we, boyfriends?" He talked slowly.

My mind started racing. Have we been doing so much romantic stuff we could he dating now? I wasn't sure what to say on the top of my head. But my heart was saying yes.

Joey was just so sweet and good to me. He has treated me so well these past few weeks, and we got so close. I think it was time for the next step in our relationship.

"Yeah.. I think so.." I smiled.

His great big smile appeared and he opened his arms. I scooted over to him and rested my head on his chest. He wrapped his arms around me. I felt so safe.

"I'm glad, boyfriend."

"I'm glad too, boyfriend." It felt so awesome to call Joey my boyfriend.

Joey is mine.

The rest of the night we cuddled and talked. It was getting late, and we were in our early relationship that I didn't want to stay over, so I had to make myself leave(even though I didn't want to leave).

He walked me over to the door and turned the porch light on.

"Well, I had fun tonight!" He smiled as we hugged.

"Me too."

"When will I see you next?" He asked.

"Well this week we should have dinner? Or maybe spend the day together? Do a couple thing" I chuckled.

"Yeah, we should." His words fell short because he gave me romantic kiss on the lips.

I kissed back. Without saying any words, I waved goodbye and I was on my way to home.
