Maya's pov

After that fight we didn't speak to each other. It's been three days. We never fight like this. It's not us. We are not like this. I don't know what happened. Everything seems foreign to me now.

There was a time when Arjun read my mind. He knows what I want. He knows about me like himself. But it's changed now.

It's not like we never fight. We fight a lot. But all those are silly fights. Ten minutes or five minutes we ended all our fights and embraced each other. But this time.

It's the first time he spoke to me like that. It hurts a lot. The words he said are piercing in my heart. He didn't even bother to say sorry. It's not my mistake he knew it well . Even after that he is not ready to speak and end all these. He speaks to akshu everyday. Being a small child she failed to notice the tension between her parents.

My mind is clouds with bad thoughts. What if she grows up and sees us. It's not healthy for children to watch their parents fighting. I wanted to speak to arjun but he is not even glancing towards my side

I want to end this fight soon. It's really miserable for me that one side Im doing everything to make our relationship stable on the other side he does not even bother to notice my efforts.

I'm in my cabin. I had a busy day today. A bus got an accident. So many passengers were injured. Im appointed as head of emergency department for this week. So i got entirely busy. My legs are paining due to standing for a long time. Pooja is in leave today. Liya is out of town. I'm getting irritated by all these. Above all thase I'm having headache.

Suddenly I got a call from arjun. It's really surprising actually. He didn't even talk to me when he is at home. He is not at all a phone person too. He usually likes to talk face to face. But what surprise me most is he himself calling me. I happy that he understand about my effort. With a smile I attend the call.

"Arjun, I was th.. "

"Maaya, "

"Yes are you ok"

"Maya you know about menon uncle right? "

"Yes what about him"

"Actually he arranged a party at his home today. He come and invite himself . He want us both to come in party"

"Oh, arjun I.. " He didn't let me finish

"Be ready at 7pm, I will pick you"

That's it. He cut the call.

I expect him to solve all these tension. But he is only increasing it.

Menon uncle is dad's friend. I really like him. He is a successful businessman. I hate going to parties. But I can't avoid it especially when uncle himself invited us. Maybe we get some time to speak too.

I called Nancy and informed about our plans. I want her to stay today because akshu will be alone. If she know about our party plan she didn't allow us to go or she will insist us to take her along with us. She is really stubborn in these matters.

After checking the admitted patients I left hospital. I went straight to home. Arjun is not at home. I got freshed I went to akshu and heard about her stories of playschool. She exaggerated a lot in her stories. After making her eat dinner I made her sleep.

I went to change my dress. I'm wearing an yellow saree for the party. It's arjuns last year birthday gift. My mind goes to this year birthday. Ohh! I don't want to think about it.

Arjun came after sometime. He went straight to our room and changed into his blue tuxedo.

We left from house after informing Nancy.
