Jason was a wreck, he had been the past three days. It had started when the emissary of his old pack, Felix, had come to him. The ginger had told Jason that he was not the only member of their pack in this town. Jason knew right away who he meant.
Elias.
Elias was, for all intensive purposes, Jason's big brother. He was a member of the pack and had taken Jason under his wing and taught him everything, they were as close as can be.
Jason was happy to hear this, but Felix had quickly squashed Jason's heart as he usually did. Elias was in the hospital and hadn't woken up.
Jason sat in the chair next to Elias' hospital bed. He had yet to tell anyone who Elias was, Jason knew that the Klein family would come for him.
The Klein's were a very old werewolf family that looked down on bitten wolves. Elias hated his family, so he left and kept his tracks hidden. Jason knew if he told anyone who Elias was, he would never see him again.
Jason took a deep breath, everything was so difficult now. Not to mention Scott and the others had been even stranger towards him lately. They would stare at him and whisper when they thought he wasn't looking. Unfortunately, Scott was smart enough not to talk loud enough for Jason to hear him, which was frustrating.
Jason sighed and stood up, he had to go home before his grand parents became suspicious.
Jason made his way home slower than normal, his headphones on his ears, blasting rock music, when he felt a familiar presence and smell tickle him. Jason glanced around to find Derek Hale and Sophia Gilbert standing just ahead of him.
Jason paused his music and pulled his headphones out of his ears.
Sophia looked conflicted, Derek just looked mad.
"Jason, we need to talk to you." Sophia said. Strange, she was never this gentle with her words.
Jason quirked a brow, "Ab-bout what?" He asked.
This time, Derek spoke. "Who you are, and who the wolf is, you obviously know him." Derek growled, gaining him an elbow in the side from Sophia.
"Look Jason, we don't want to hurt you or anything, we just need to know." Sophia said, sending a glare to Derek.
Jason nodded slowly, this was not good, but he knew that while he may be able to out run them, Derek and Sophia were much stronger than him. "J-just let m-me t-tell my grand p-parents." He said. Jason pulled out his phone and called his grand father.
"Jason? Are you on your way home yet?" The old mans voice came over the line.
"Ac-actually, some f-friends from sch-school asked m-me to s-study with th-them." Jason said.
"Boys?" Came his grand fathers voice.
"Yes." Jason responded.
"Alright, well you have fun, just call us in the morning if you need us to pick you up." His grandfather said.
Thank god it was Friday. "Thanks, l-love you."
"Love you too Jason." Then Jason hung up. He took a deep breath and turned towards Derek and Sophia.
"L-lets go then."
