Scott couldn't quite put his finger on it. The past two days he spent every class he had with Jason Carter trying to figure out why he felt like he had seen him before. His hair was dark brown, almost black, and his eyes were a pale green color. He was thin without being too skinny. And of course, he was a werewolf. Scott had known the moment he saw him, well, smelled him was more accurate.

Scott looked at the back of Jay's head, which was covered by his usual beanie as he silently took notes in class. Jay always did everything possible to not be called on and Scott knew it was because he stuttered. It was strange though, when he wasn't speaking, Jay was like a whole other person, in fact, some of the others schools lacrosse players were intimidated by Jay for some reason that Scott had yet to figure out.

When the bell finally rang, Scott realized that he had been staring at Jay's head for at least 15 minutes and hadn't taken down the rest of the notes. He sighed and followed after the other students, catching up to his best friend Stiles in the hallway.

"Hey Stiles, I need to ask you something." Scott said.

"Sure dude." Stiles replied.

"Does Jay remind you of anyone?" Scott asked.

Stiles thought for a long moment. "Yeah, now that you mention it, but I can't figure out who." He said.

Scott nodded in agreement, "That's what I've been thinking, even his smell is slightly familiar."

The two looked over at the boy standing at his locker with a sour look on his face. Scott felt something start to click and moved closer to Jay. When the boy looked Scott's direction it finally made sense to him.

"Stiles." Scott said.

"Yeah man, I see the same thing." Stiles said quietly.

Jay's glare was focused somewhere past the two boys and he made his way towards it, or him as they found out. Standing there was a man with auburn red hair and green eyes.

"Another werewolf?" Stiles asked.

Scott shook his head. "No, he smells human." He said. Scott studied Jay's body for a moment, he was completely tense and seemed bristling with anger while the man before him was completely calm. When the guy finally left, Jay's shoulders sunk.

He glanced back towards Scott and Stiles, then quickly looked away and walked down a different hallway but they had caught the glare once again.

"Scott, if what we think is true then-" Stiles began.

"We don't know anything for sure." Scott said, but he felt it. The way the boy looked, the way he smelled, and most certainly his glare. "He looks just like Derek."
